The scraper works.
The scraper is being used to remove old tile thinset from a block wall. You have to finesse it some, but it does the job. Be careful not to put too much pressure on it though...it will likely break in that case. Just take a little time and angle it correctly at about half throttle on the sawzall.

Fantastic!!
I have never posted a review but this tool saved me hours and hours of work. I am removing carpet tacks that were nailed into concrete and heavily glued. It took me forever to remove one section with a chisel. This goes right through it without much effort. I love it.

Stop after 20 to 30 minutes of use
I used this attachment to take up a glued down flooring; I busted 3 of them before I realized.tbat after about 20 maybe 30 minutes of use, they would get too hot and break off on the neck. I ended up buying 2 more, a total of 5 purchased in all, and roaring them. Expensive to remove tile.in only one room, but it got the job done.

Worth the Cost
Did a very good job of scraping off old black water-resistant coating from a concrete block wall. Did it eventually break? - Yes, but only after several hours of use that would have taken many more hours to do by hand. After the tang broke off I reground the remaining tang to the same shape as the original and was able to get a second life from the product, although being slightly shorter in length.

Just as advertised!
Just as advertised! I am not sure why another reviewer said that they did not receive the Spyder Scraper. The packaging may not look exactly the same but it is still a Spyder Scraper! I have been using one without any breakage. I just set my Skil Reciprocating Saw to 3 and it works fantastic. It has saved me much work!

I should've known
Not worth the 3.99 it cost me --- plus ~5.00 for shipping. The edge dulled considerably after just a couple of minutes of a very disappointing attempt to remove excess chunks of mortar from a concrete floor. Then, after an extremely frustrating 10 minutes, the little piece of garbage broke at the neck as I applied a little down-ward pressure to try to get it to live up to Simple Man's claim. Oh well, I guess I should've guessed that if a cold chisel, a hammer and sheer determination and muscle failed to make much impact, how much could I reasonably expect from this thin little piece of brittle metal. I'm hoping to get better results from an angle grinder equipped with a concrete grinding cup disc, which I just ordered from Amazon.

When it's not violent and nearly uncontrollable, it's brittle.
I had 1000 sq ft of very old engineered flooring glue to get off concrete. This was one of the things I tried to avoid using solvents. I broke 3 in 10 minutes. Abandoned the idea and kept the remainder because I can see where it could be useful in limited applications. Switched to a rotary hammer with a 3 inch blade and knocked the job out in no time. Louder and messier than I wanted but the concrete was smooth when done.

I have the experience to compare original Milwaukee blade and this scraper blade and I could tell that this blade is not near the Milwaukee blade. Both on same size, both on the same sawzall, both on the same flooring and both on the same condition such as pressure angle and attack on the blade. For 5min.. of my time I did more on Milwaukee scraper blade, near the double the size, which is significant is you are contractor and need to get the job done. It is only one star due to cost, Milwaukee 1.5" scraper blade is 11.40CAD+tax, in Home depot and this scrapper blade is over 18CAD+tax. The other feed back from Spyder 2" scraper blade is that any meaning not near 2"..disregarding in positive way "made in USA" sorry but is much shorter that 2" over 3/16" shorter , what could happen hear is that just speculating from my side, the blade is Made in China and packed in USA. I have very high respect from everything made in USA and this product is not good quality. On the end go for Milwaukee it is chipper and much better.
