This has to be the best carpet value out there! I found a video on youtube that showed a method of marking the stair treads first with masking tape as a guide, to help keep the runner straight and centered. Then you put double-side carpet tape down on the stair treads and risers, ready to peel back. Then you start the install at the top of the top riser using a staple gun (note the runner ends were perfectly square, which helped there). Bringing the carpet down, I worked it tight to the bottom of each riser, securing with staples, before pulling it down atop the peeled tape on each stair tread. I ended up needing to use *no* staples into the nice oak stair treads themselves--only into the cove molding below each tread, and into the painted risers. Everything tight and straight! At the staircase's bottom (bottom riser), I cut the carpet runner about 1-1/2" longer than the bottom, then folded it back behind after "sealing" the cut end with a dark piece of duct tape. Then carpet-taped and stapled that tightly to the bottom of the riser. Looks good! On our 13 step staircase, there was about 5 feet left. It's amazing how soft the runner feels installed without any padding. Safety never felt this good!

This Marash Luxury Carpet Runner was a real find. The beautiful and classic design was the first thing that caught my eye and lead me to purchase one of these runners. When the runner arrived I quickly discovered that it was even better looking in person and that it was much thicker and softer than I expected it to be. The runners construction and quality of materials is excellent and it has all the indications of lasting a long time. I've shopped extensively for runners and could not find anything this good at this price. I now own four of these runners!

We had a carpet professional install this for us on our hardwood stairs. He said, "wow, this is really good quality". That was the icing on the cake! This is stunning, the colors are vivid and it is so soft. It is super high end. We couldn't be any happier.

So long as you like the pattern and one of the color combinations, this stair runner has got to be one of the best values available on Amazon. Unbelievably, an (apparently) identical runner at a site which specializes in runners sells for $445.00! About the only runner I found which is close to this one in price came to over $300.00. This product is fairly well made and appears to be durable. The pile is not high, but not too thin either. Thickness is perfect for wrapping around the nose and tucking into the back corner of stair treads. I installed it with 1/2" x 3/8" Porter Cable #PC708 crown staples, a Bostitch air stapler and pancake compressor set at 100# pressure - and nothing else. I put about 4 or 5 staples under the nose of each tread, at the back corner of each riser and approximately 3" back back from the nose on the tread (to keep it from slipping). I didn't use any padding as I thought this was unnecessary. The advantages to installing this runner as I did are that it will stay in place quite well, yet will come up easily if I ever decide to replace it.

Installed it in a hallway. It looks like it enriched the entire area. Not an easy task with newly installed high quality hard wood flooring. Time will tell about how it performs with vacuuming - which by itself is very rough on carpeting. Delivery time was good, arrived well protected. Would definitely recommend or buy again if I had another stairway.

I am In love 😍 This runner looks amazing, looks expensive and was so easy to install. I couldn’t be happier with this product. The carpert is soft and feels great under my feet. My 5 year old keeps saying how much he loves it! It was easy to cut with fabric scissors and I sealed it by burning the edge. I had a small amount left over when I was done. The carpet seems like it will be very durable and stand the rest of time. I will update if any issues arise.

I purchased the runner for my stairs, but decided I preferred it in my hallway. Works perfectly
