Really enjoyed reading this book and it held up really well.

Unquestionably Jules Verne at his best! There is not a single one of his works I've read that could cause me to offer a critical comment. "Journey" again exemplifies his stature as a master story-teller whose descriptive and quite technically detailed (but certainly not distracting) writing makes every tale an adventure and marvelous learning experience. Any of Verne's books will provide you a great reading experience, and "Journey" is no exception!

This book is a classic for a reason. Why couldn't this book have been assigned in school. This is quite an enjoyable read however it is most definitely classic sci-fi meaning that if you like characters over exploration of ideas then this may not be the book for you however it does have more character work than normal classic sci-fi. Absolutely an essential read for anybody that enjoys sci-fi an fantasy and is a great read for most people aged 10 an up
