I absolutely LOVE my Osprey backpack! As a 5'6" hiker, this backpack fits like a dream. The adjustable fit makes it feel custom-made for my frame, and at just around 2.8 lbs, it’s impressively lightweight, making long hikes feel effortless. The 34L storage capacity is perfect for day hikes or light overnight trips where minimal gear is needed. I easily packed essentials like water, snacks, a first-aid kit, and extra layers, with room to spare in the well-organized compartments. I also love the zipper top instead of a drawstring opening—it makes accessing my gear so much easier and feels more secure. This pack served us well traveling to and hiking in Montana. They’re right at the limit of carryon size (slightly over the way we filled them) but had no trouble fitting into the overhead compartment on both a United Boeing 727 and a united airbus a319. There was plenty of room for a week of clothes, medicine and a few accessories. While hiking with these packs, I especially appreciate the design keeping the pack off my back so I don’t have a big sweaty spot. The perforated bit heavily padded mesh straps are also a big selling point in that they are comfortable, plush, and cool with their LARGE perforations that allow an appreciable amount of air to flow through the straps, cool your shoulders and prevent sweat buildup by allowing sweat to evaporate. I like the four LARGE pockets, the dedicated hydration pouch and the two medium sized pockets on the comfortable and plush waist belt. It’s clear this pack was designed by people who actually hike and has evolved over generations of testing.

I absolutely love this pack. It’s incredible comfortable, adjustable in three different ways. I appreciate how it keeps your back cool with the very functional mesh panel. All zippers work well and the various compartments are well designed. The water bottle pockets are super deep so nothing falls out. This is a huge improvement upon prior models of this daypack. I hiked the coast to coast trail across England using this backpack and it was perfect. I was able to take it on the airplane and put it under my seat as a personal item, but it just barely fit. The frame makes it fairly tall. Highly recommended!

Osprey has many quality products and this is one of them. Since it has back support it is very comfortable to wear/carry. It is designed to distribute the weight of a fully packed bag. It easily fits a water reservoir (Camelbak or similar) and still has plenty of space to carry everything that you might need for a day hike. It is very convenient to have a built in rain fly.

I am am osprey girl thru and thru. I wore in my old osprey day pack pretty well to the point I needed to upgrade. This specific pack is great for longer day hikes. It is a little heavy, in my opinion but worth it with the amount of features it provides. Day hikes are comfier, I’m able to bring a bit more than before when we go high alpine, and I can maximize the exterior storage abilities more than I could before. It is a sturdier pack but that’s bc it can carry more.

Outstanding backpack with quality zippers, secure water bottle sleeve, and comfortable hip and shoulder straps. The Elderberry is gorgeous without being too pink. It is height adjustable and air can move between your back and the pack keeping you cool.

This is a fantastic backpacking pack! We just used it for a 3 night trial trip in preparation for taking it across Europe. We loved it! It did take about a day to find the right adjustments of the shoulder straps and waist straps, but I believe that’s more user error and less about the pack. Pros: * shoe pocket at the bottom is plenty big and great to have * rain cover and you can fit a bit more in the rain cover pocket * the side pockets are big and easily fit all kinds of water bottles * the bottom straps were able to carry our tent! * the top inside mesh pocket was big enough for my entire alternate outfit. Con: * I wish there were more places to hook things on the outside of the pack, but maybe I just need to get more creative. Overall, it is a win for me and fit everything I needed without being overly heavy! Fully loaded (with tent and water) I was around 30 lbs.

This is an excellent back pack. I have tried several different ones because I do a lot of hiking and tend to get lower back pain if I don't have a pack with good support. I am 5'4'' tall, and have a short torso. Some of the packs do not adjust to fit me, however this one does! It adjusts both for the length as well as in the shoulders. It has great pocket features and durable zippers and a very sturdy waste belt. The back of the pack is really sturdy, particularly for a lighter weight day pack. I think this is going to quickly become my new favorite.

Perfect sized bag for my backpacking trip

i spent a few days researching what bag to take on the camino de santiago and this one came highly recommended. I did the Portuguese way in September when the temperature was about 20-25 degrees, covered 300k and completed it in 11 days. This had just the right amount of space for everything i needed without the temptation to overpack and make it too heavy. I used my hydration bladder as it has space to attach and I also made use of the included waterpoof cover which was easy to attach and put away again. It's a great design so your back doesn't get too hot and lots of ways top adjust to get the fit right. Seems like good quality and durable and a good price on here!

Für mich stellt Osprey die am besten sitzenden Rucksäcke her und die vielen Taschen und ihre Aufteilung sind perfekt. Ich bin 1,67m und wiege 88 kg und im Gegensatz zu den anderen Markenherstellen die man so kennt, ist das der einzige der einfach perfekt sitzt. Es ist schon der zweite dieser Marke (ich hab noch den gleichen in 24 Liter) und der hält jetzt trotz ständigem Einsatz ohne Fehler oder Beschädigung seit 6 Jahren und er musste schon einige Wetterlagen durchstehen.
