Great Quality and Features
I researched lots of different types and sizes of jigsaw storage cases before chosing this one. It seemed a lot of money to spend, but now I have the case and am using it for a puzzle I can appreciate the benefits this has over other cases I looked at. Big plus - Jigsort 1000 is slightly more generous in size than the other 1000 piece ones I considered - that bit of extra space gives me a wider choice of puzzles including Ravensburger 1000's which wouldn't fit on the others. It is convenient that the puzzle board can be removed from the case, and because the board is rigid so it doesn't need a fully supportive base to sit on - so I can do a puzzle sat in bed if I wanted. I have so far stored the case vertically with the frame of a puzzle complete and there has been no slipping of the pieces. The nice plastic-backed felt sheet that goes over the surface of the puzzle before storage contributes to this, along with the slightly padded walls of the case. The sorting trays are a nice convenient not too large size. The slide on covers seemed a little fiddly the first couple of times I used them but now I have the knack of closing them without the pieces moving. The case is nice and robust and because it zips up completely there is no possibility of pieces falling out during transit. The felt material that covers the surface of the working board keeps the pieces from slipping about although it's still easy to move pieces in to place as needed. All in all very happy. My first puzzle on this Jigsort is coming along great (Schmidt "Ciro Marchetti Space Station") and it's so nice to be able to pack it away securely and out of the way when I'm not working on it.

You Get What You Pay For
Just what I wanted. I did plenty of research before making this purchase, as it is the most expensive I found. However, the quality is excellent. Strong and rigid, I can't see this will ever need replacing. All the boards are of the same quality, rigid and hold pieces firm without any slipping so the whole puzzle can be sorted on to different boards according to colour etc, without any fear of sliding to the bottom of the case when packed away. The boards are all beautifully smooth and perfectly covered and the carry bag itself is smart and well made. Yes, its expensive, but worth the money - you get what you pay for. Added bonus: Ordered on the 19th arrived on the 21st and free delivery.

Good quality
This is a comprehensive, good quality product as might be expected for the price. It is large and quite heavy, though obviously as it's flat, it can be stored under a bed for example, assuming there's nothing / nobody else under there.

This is a quality item
This product does exactly what it claims. It's not cheap, but for me it's well worth the money. The construction tray is light, but when placed in the carrier with all the bits it's quite heavy (6KG). The individual sort trays are really useful for building small parts of the overall puzzle before transferring to the main tray. The covers for the sort trays and the main construction are an excellent addition that really do keep the pieces from moving when stored. I definitely recommend this product.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for.
I live in a flat and the only hard, flat surfaces large enough for jigsaw building are the floor, my kitchen bench, or my fold-down breakfast bar - none of which are feasible options, especially with a jigsaw loving cat in the house! Thanks to the Jigsort I can now work away at my jigsaws with the Jigboard on the floor and all the other little trays spread out around me, and when I'm done I can just pop everything into the case and slide the whole lot under the bed. I've also carried it vertically with no problem. I looked at a couple of other similar jigsaw storage devices before buying this, and while they were only about half the price, the Jigsort had several major advantages over them. Some of the cheaper products offered some of these features, but the Jigsort is the only one I've found to offer all of them. 1 - The additional trays are covered in the same fabric as the main puzzle board, not only keeping your sorted pieces in place, but giving you the useful option of assembling small sections of the main puzzle on the additional trays. They also have lids to make doubly sure the pieces don't move between them, although if the trays aren't full the loose pieces will slide to the bottom if stored vertically (they remain in a single layer though, so not a big problem). Because of the way the lids slide on you do need to leave maybe 0.5cm of space at the top and bottom of each tray otherwise when you go to slide the lid on it will push the puzzle pieces which were too near the edge ahead of it. 2 - You can remove both the puzzle board and the additional trays from the case. This has several advantages - you can close the (rather unwieldly when opened out) case up again and set it aside, you can arrange the board and trays around you in whatever positions are most comfortable, and if you've done a section of the puzzle on a smaller board, you can set it on top of the main one and slide the completed section onto the main board intact. 3 - Cheaper products tended to be just a fraction too small for a lot of the 1000 piece puzzles they claimed to be designed for. The Jigsort is only a couple of centimetres bigger in each direction, but that tiny amount of extra space makes a big difference in making sure almost all 1000 piece puzzles (obviously excluding oddly shaped ones) from any manufacturer will fit. 4 - I haven't personally owned any of the cheaper products, but reviews tended to say the materials were poor quality and easily damaged. I don't know what the Jigsort is made of, but the outside is a nice leather effect material, and the board and trays feel very solid, I would expect it to last for a very long time. In summary, there are cheaper products out there which probably do a pretty decent job, but if you can afford to pay the extra for this, I would definitely recommend it. You might also want to have a look at the Jigframe, which I bought at the same time, and which allows you to frame and hang your puzzles without glueing them together, so you can re-use both the frame and the puzzle when you want a change.

NICE but too heavy for some
This is a great puzzle keeper. The only problem with this was when the senior citizen I bought it for had to lift the case to put behind the chair. It is EXTREMELY heavy even for a young person like myself. Just something to keep in mind when ordering the product.

is very poor for what is an expensive item
The protective cover was not correctly placed in the folder and as a result the stitching on the piece holders left a scratched impression on the board, an imprint of the stitch pattern. This I think, is very poor for what is an expensive item. It was returned.

I own one of these and bought this one for my son and his wife. Living in small apartments makes it very hard to do puzzles. This case is perfect. I usually don't put it away in the zipped outer-case. I just slide the board with the puzzle on it under my love-seat. My son does the same with his sofa. The case makes it perfect to bring along on vacation. It really holds the puzzle together. I can't rave about it enough! I usually do the 1,000 piece White Mountain Puzzles that are 24 x 30 inches. Not many boards out there can hold this size puzzle. I love that I can pull it out and on my table and then slide it away at dinner time. The quality of the case and the broad is excellent. I especially love the board which I use the most. It has a nice cloth base and is very sturdy. It also has a nice edge which is very helpful. I bought cheaper ones in the past that were a waste of money. I think this one is worth every penny. I love it! I think you will too.

I found a passion for puzzles recently & after putting two puzzles together (1000 piece each) & ending up with missing pieces, I decided to invest in this. The felt holds the pieces & has prevented me from dropping as many. I've completed two puzzles since receiving it & I absolutely love the quality of this & the sorting trays too. I haven't tried transporting it. My only complaint or warning would be that this is heavy when it's in the case. I would recommend sizing up on the case so you have flexibility on the different sizes of 500 piece puzzles. I am completing 500 piece puzzles on the 1,000 Jigsaw tray. If I were still working on 1,000 piece puzzles, I would have ordered the 1,500 to have some flexibility on space.

Jigthings Ltd puzzle cases are the best. I also have the one that holds 2000 piece puzzle and it's really large and a little heavy but so very worth it and now I've received the 1000 piece case. I highly recommend these cases. The board can come out of the case if you have a place to leave it up or puts away very easily to keep pets and "helpful" little grandbaby hands or if you just need the space. Great to take in RV's.
