I have bought 2piece canes before and they always snapped or didn’t meet together quite right, so when my new cane arrived I thought it was a one piece and not a 2 piece. Put it together and it joined perfectly, it feels and looks solid and is quite heavy compared to others I have had, used it for about a month now and i am very pleased with it, had to cut it down a little as it was long for a short person like me and put a rubber bung on the end. Now looking for another one as well to keep me happy.

The Victorian style head makes the stick look lived in and the screwed in rubber stud at the base of the stick ensures no slip on domestic surfaces. The stick is ideal for practically any size of man or woman as a taller person would push down harder on the stick ensuring even less chance of slipping. With the thought enabling this stick to be made, the price is most fair and the quality first class.

For £15.99 delivered next day to my door what's not to like . The brass cast head is good enough sitting on a solid feeling timber , a good weight and stylish. However , what have they done with the rubber ferule , it is far too lightweight and poorly secured. A great pity it spoils an otherwise brilliant product. I bought this mainly for decorative purposes , if I actually walked with it I would have to do something about the tip.

A much better item than the photos show. I am delighted with it. I hopt thye tip keeps ok as that is my only worry. I would have liked to be able to buy a shorter version due to my height but this should be easily converted by a saw, drill hole and a bit of Glue....very impressed and delighted!

Really nice walking stick, but the dog has a bit of a beak. The rubber at the bottom is a bit weak, so needs replacing before you damage the bottom. The stick is very strong. Overall though it is a lovely walking stick at a really good price

Purchased as a gift for husband birthday so can’t really comment, but looks good quality and much better than I expected.

I bought this for my daughter as part of her cosplay outfit. Well worth it’s money, it looks great and is very sturdy and looks authentic as a Victorian style cane, hopefully she will get a few compliments when she attends her cosplay event

The wood is quite nice, but has been treated with something that smells horrible! The brass Dachshund/Duck top is solid brass, but doesn’t look like either a dachshund or a duck. The neck bit of the brass head has a very sharp metal bur left that could cut your hand; I’ll be filing this down. The end of the stick which contacts the ground is just a nailed on (NB not screwed, as was shown in the item images on Amazon) piece of cheap rubber and will have to be replaced if this is to be used as a walking stick.

I am impressed with this cane. I bought it for a Halloween accessory and it's perfect. The eagle's head is solid and heavy; the cane is wood and is a great height for me (I am 6'5" and it's comfortable on my side). Great value!
