Works great
Use it in my kayak and even when Iโm out on the pier I connect all my tools so I donโt misplace them at the wrong time

High quality lanyard!
I used this to replace the cheesy plastic lanyard that came with my metal-detecting pin pointer. I added a ball-bearing snap swivel to eliminate twists and it works perfectly! Iโll never break it and I wonโt lose my pin pointer again.

If it saves your rod and real once itโs worth it!
Pricier than most but when itโs attached to A rod and reel thatโs more than 20 times the cost of the lanyard is worth it,made of very good material and the strap hold the rod well if it saves the pole once itโs worth it

Decent quality
Works as intended. Split ring on one end is kind of a pain to use.

Quality hardware, multiple uses
You can use thes for anything you want to keep close. I am using one as an emergency breakaway bake pin on the vehicle I tow behind my RV

I don't recommend this for saltwater activities
I don't recommend this for saltwater activities. Salt build up is a major concern. If you intend to use them in saltwater, apply WD40 on the clasps before using the lanyard on the ocean. Once salt build up occurs, which starts on the first trip on the ocean, the clasps will lock up. I rinse my gear very well after each use, but water does not seem to get the salt off these. As a pseudo-remedy, I placed the clasps in hot water and it took enough of the salt off to continue using them; the clasps still did not move freely with some of the salt removed. Construction of the product seems adequate, but stick to fresh water with these.

Great for kids
We use it for my 4 year old when weโre ice fishing. No poles down the hole! It clips right to him.
