Tartex Organic Herb Pate Tube 200 g (Pack of 4)

TARTEX is a vegetarian pate , I have used it for years. It’s so delicious.

Found a mushroom version of this in a local health store and went online to see what others were available; I bought these for my mother who is fasting for LENT (she follows the strictest rules which mean eating only those things which are plant based (i.e. no animal products in any form). She says they're great; taste and texture is wonderful and she uses it both as a snack on rye crackers but also has an alternative for butter on toast. Very very pleased with this and the price meant good value. They arrived promptly with no damage so I'm pleased because my mum's happy!! I would highly recommend for those who are already (or considering) vegan diet.

We've been buying this pate for 5 years, ever since our son was diagnosed with multiple severe food allergies and we were so relieved to find a sandwich filler that was safe for him and which he likes! However I've gotten fed up of the packaging and will be switching to granovita pate in its little tins. This tartex pate comes in tubes that are very difficult to squeeze especially once the pate has been in the fridge. It means that even with a tube squeezer a fair amount is being wasted. It's also physically difficult to get the pate out even when it's just been opened. One tube only lasts 3-4 sandwiches so wasting a fair bit is a shame. It's a really yummy spread tho so if they change the packaging so it's easier to squeeze and results in less waste I would definitely buy it again.

Had this as a child and it's as tasty as I remember. Expensive but a little goes a long way. Marked down a star as it's so difficult to get all of the spread out of the tube

Same as for the above. Delicious and hard to come by. Get it while you can. Doesn't last long for me so I buy in bulk. Vegan (I'm not actually a vegan) but for a vegan foodstuff this is fabulous! A certain well-knwn health food store stopped stocking this and I was gutted so I buy in bulk on Amazon now. Don't rate the olive or chilli versions, but the mushroom, plain, and herb and garlic versions are exquisite! Be warned, it doesn't look very appetizing when you squeeze it onto your plate but it tastes fantastic spread on toast!

I love this pate, I eat 3 tubes per week, I'm diabetic & I use low carb wafers. They're delicious, healthy organic and delicious. I'm amazed at how long they last. I put loads on my wafers lol, im like an addict. Just try them. Patricia Welsh xxxxx

Got wheat intollerance, and this wheat free pate is so tasty, spread on rice cakes or oat biscuits.

The TARTEX ORGANIC HERB PATE is absolutely delicious! However, I did not see the price for shipping, which is definitely too high to buy again! It will be the very last time to order Tartex with this shipping of $47. Paying $20 per tube of Tartex is too much. So, this was the very last time!!

Before I was a vegetarian I loved pate; as a veggie in the UK I could substitute tartex. Since I came to Canada nada. Grate deal for 4 tubes, be prepared to wait though - took about 10 weeks - fault of customs not the shippers.
