This cable comes with a lifetime warranty. Now, when any product comes with a lifetime warranty it is bound to be of the highest technical standards.At least that is how it is perceived. I have purchased it recently and have connected this cable to my DVD player which too, I have purchased quite recently from amazon, and I believe I am getting most optimum picture and sound quality with the setup. This component cable might seem a bit pricey but I expect it to be worth it.Right now i am very satisfied with the product and hope it works just as well in the long run

Works great on old legacy DVD/VCR combo player without HDMI output
This Component Video and Audio Cable is excellent quality and it worked well attaching my old legacy DVD/VCR combo player to my new smart TV. Don't expect the picture quality to be as good as with a new Blu-Ray player attached with an HDMI cable, but using this cable saves buying a new player. I would recommend this cable for anyone using older technology.
