As someone who has used this product, and also has a degree in nutrition and dietetics I would like to clear up what many are saying about this being a multi-vitamin that could come from GNC. It's not, not even close. First, the ingredients in multivitamins are almost never traceable, or in their most bio-available form. You could take all the B-12 in the world, but if you don't take it as methylcobalamin, your body can't absorb it. The same goes for other vitamins often included in a multi. Not only that, this supplement is traceable - you can actually see where the nutrients are coming from (and the form they come in). This is hugely important, because many companies have very low standards as to what sources they take their supplements from. In fact walgreens, target, and walmart were all just busted for selling sawdust and rice powder as vitamins. The VitaBeard vitamins are being sourced from plants and actual foods, as you can see on the label. The iodine is derived from organic sea kelp, the vitamin E from sunflower oil, etc. I have spent a good deal of time studying mineral supplements, and this is one of the highest quality and purest supplement labels I have ever read. So i read about this supplement while researching beards online, and it was recommended that i take it or something similar with b vitamins or biotin, so i decided why not get a vitamin with both. i had not shaved my face in about 2 months time and had maybe 2 inches of growth for my beard length, then i started taking this supplement, it says to take 3 throughout the day with food, but i don't usually eat 3 times a day so sometimes i would take 2 with one meal and another later, then i realized that there were only 90 pills and at 3 a day thats only 30 days of full dose, so i started to take less and try to spread it out and make the bottle last longer, just taking 1 or 2 a day for about 2 weeks, i nearly doubled my beard growth in that short amount of time, also my nails were growing faster and my head hair was growing faster, i've seen reviews saying that biotin is a hit or miss with most people, well it definitely hit for me. the only thing i don't like and i'm sure this has been mention in other reviews but the smell and taste of these pills are very strong, like almost a sorta garlic smell/taste to them, but other multivitamins smell/taste about the same. anyway i guess the thing to get out of my review is that it does work, my beard grew faster and thicker, but you need to be aware that it DOES NOT replace genetics, it won't magically grow hair where you don't already grow hair, but it will make the areas where you can grow hair grow better. I'm not a competitive beard grower, i just wanted to grow one for fun, i'm saving about 30 pills for pre halloween to be captain black beard for my costume. and i know that if i don't shave until october and then i start taking these pills again i will probably double whatever i already have in a short amount of time. enjoy!

I gotta say this product is dependable . it does its job very well an wastes no time . I oder this product october 13 an I received it the 16th of october . As soon as I gotten the product I instantly started taking them . its only been a couple of days an WOW!!! you would see a difference . I honestly thought some of these people that was commenting about the product saying how they seen results within the next couple of days of taking them . I thought it was B.S but I bite my tongue because they were honestly not kidding . My facial hair is much darker an shinier , Growing tremendously , like you can see my facial gotten much longer . Patches are definitely working its way to filling in . Its an amazing product an I can vouch for it clearly because I don't believe things until I see it an it prove me that its worth buying an not a b.s product . What made me by this because I wanted to grow a full beard so bad an trying everything I could to get a fuller beard man everything was letting me down , until I came across this one an it pleased me . It said you have to take three but thats not necessary . What you can do is take two a day , an I would recommend taking biotin with this product , I do it an I'm getting tremendous growth. Soon ill have my full beard cant wait . So patchy face guys Buy this product trust me , it wont fail you at all . I will be buying another one very soon . So don't knock it until you try it , SO TRY IT !!!

Let me start by saying I am a REAL person and this is a REAL and HONEST review and no one has paid me to say anything good or bad about this product. I normally grow a thick and respectable beard. This wasn't really a necessary thing for me to try but I was curious. I have to shave once a month and I wanted to see how much length I could grow in one months time. So I bit the bullet and paid the outrageous price for this gimmicky product. I was skeptical but hopeful! I WANTED to see these vitamins work. Alas I am sorry to report that if these vitamins did ANYTHING at all, they slowed my beard growth down!!! Even my wife noticed my beard wasn't growing nearly as fast as it did in previous months when I wasn't taking these vitamins. It's also important to note that this is basically just a daily multivitamin with a ton of biotin in it. Presumably the maker of this product believes that a lot of biotin leads to better hair and nail growth. And while that is widely accepted as fact, there is no concrete evidence or data to support that assumption. Over all I am very disappointed and would not buy this again or recommend this to a friend, or even an enemy.

It's a good vitamin supplement. As far as, beard growth it is hard to say, because I using minoxidil also for beard growth at the same time. My beard is making some progress. I really don't know if it is the minoxidil or vita beard that is making the beard grow. I hope it is the combo of the two. I did order 2 more bottles of Vitabeard. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt to see what happen in the next few months. Good thing, I have no problem or side effects from taking the vitamin. I'm taking these vitamins for now instead of Centrum 50+ vitamin which I normally take daily. Once I stop using minoxidil several months from now. I will decide if I continue taking Vitabeard or go back to Centrum which is cheaper than expensive Vitabeard. I do like the fact that Vitabeard has more B vitamins potency than Centrum.

Let me cut right to the chase; It is probably best using this product on a shaven face, that way you can REALLY see the results (if any). I was attempting to grow a beard before I ordered these and for quite some time, I haven't been able to grow a full one. There seems to be an imbalance w/ my facial hair, as the left side of my face seems to grow more hair than my right. It is very annoying, as I am 33 y/o and have always been a fan of beards/goatees, especially since I cut my own hair and do all of the regular grooming myself. In addition, my father looked like a grizzly bear when he was my age. I figured I'd order these just to see if it would help 'fill in the gaps' of my already 'light beard.' I can honestly tell you that I really can't come to that conclusion on whether it has helped or not. Prior to these, I was taking Biotin 5000mg vitamins and I don't even know if THAT'S been helping. I see some life fuzz growing in the areas that were once gaps, but I don't know if I should credit the vitamins or the fact that my body may be going through the changes, as I am fairly active in the gym. Personally, I feel like I've wasted $30 on VitaBeard, but I'm not too upset about it b/c I had a good feeling about the benefits of these vitamins before I ordered them. A few ppl who have written reviews, appeared to have the same delays in facial hair growth as I, and after reading their reviews, they seemed to all have some type of positive result. So naturally, I felt good about the purchase. I'll give these pills about 3 months (I've had them for about 2 weeks now) and will not shave for this period. I take two a day for five days and then I rest on the weekend. If by March I don't see much of a difference, then I will declare this product as wasted money. Stay tuned...

I have always been able to grow a beard but recently I wanted to push the limit on how much I can grow it. And after reading many positive reviews I decided to throw caution out the door, and went for it. When I received my first bottle of VitaBeard, I'm not going to lie it smelled horrible. But then I forgot that I'm a man, trying to grow a man sized beard, and I wasn't going to let that bother me. So after a month of taking this product I was shocked on how soft, long, and shiny my beard looked. This product actually worked very well, and will be purchasing another bottle. So if anyone is able to grow a beard and wanted to make it look great this is the product you want. Trust me your own Operation: Man Bear will not suffer.

I wasn't sure what results to expect from taking beard vitamins, but after reading the positive reviews here I decided to give them a shot. After using them for about a month, my beard was noticeably softer and shinier. Now at four months I'm also seeing fewer stray hairs in the sink when I shampoo and comb my beard. My significant other has been complaining lately that my beard is too thick, so they definitely work! The directions on the bottle suggest taking up to three per day, though I usually just take one or two and that seems to do the trick. The pills do smell and taste awful, but you get used to it and that's the only drawback. Wash them down with some juice or any sweet beverage and you won't even notice. I'll end the review with a small and happy side effect I've experienced from taking these. I'm not ashamed to admit on an amazon review that I've suffered from acne outbreaks on my chest and back since high school. Since taking these supplements the acne has gradually cleared and is now just about gone - this after years of trying all sorts of topical ointments to no avail. I have no idea why these pills would have that effect, but I suppose a supplement that is meant to improve the health of your hair will also do the same for you skin. Needless to say, I'm very pleased to have tried VitaBeard and plan on using it for a long time to come!
