Le tengo un apego especial ya que es la historia que más le gusta a mi hija también! Lo recomiendo fuertemente ya que es la historia de transición de los personajes principales, pasan de niños a jóvenes; y así también pasan las historias de juveniles a historias más oscuras y con consecuencias más fuertes (spoiler alert: muertes de personajes!) Lo recomiendo muy especialmente y luego sugiero que vean la película, esta combinación es muy buena y completa la experiencia!

Thank you J.K Rowling for the amazing book and the wonderful story, I really enjoyed reading your books, I’m in love with the history of Harry potter.

Me ha gustado la historia, el torneo de los tres magos es sinceramente un gran evento dentro del mundo mágico.

You can probably tell already (since this review is in English) that Spanish is not my native language. I lived in Mexico for a couple of years 40 years ago and wanted to brush up on my Spanish. I thought that if I picked a book that was targeted at pre-teens (and one that would be enjoyable to read as well) that I would get a good exposure to grammar and expand my vocabulary. I haven't been disappointed there. I would say that I currently speak at the level of an eight year old native speaker. I started out looking up about 5 words per page, and now, after reading about 100 pages I'm down to looking up about 3 words per page. My only complaint is that about a quarter of the words that I have to look up in the Pocket Oxford Spanish Dictionary are not there. I was hoping that since the Harry Potter series was targeted at pre-teens and early teens that the translation would not have lots of "more grown up" words. I guess I should have been tipped off by the title, though - caliz means chalice (a word that most pre-teens aren't familiar with) where a more commonly used word, copa (which translates as goblet) would have been more universally understood. So overall, the book is doing what I wanted it to - it is exposing me to good grammar, and increasing my vocabulary (but perhaps not vocabulary that I'll ever find very useful.)

Este libro es largo, pero nunca se siente aburrido. Está sumamente bien pensado y relatado. Todos los detalles de la trama llegan a una feliz resolución al final del libro. A mí no me gustaron las películas, pero consideraría leer otro libro de la serie, si es así de interesante. La traducción es buena.

Rowling hat mit den Harry Potter Büchern eine großartige Buchreihe herausgebracht, die zwar in erster Linie für Kinder und Jugendliche gedacht ist, aber auch ältere Leser in seinen Bann zieht Ich habe mit den Büchern damals meine Englischkenntnisse verbessert und war ab dem vierten Band in der Lage, ganz ohne Hilfsmittel die Bücher im Original zu lesen und konnte ab dem fünften Band die Geschichte gleich nach dem erscheinen der Bände mitverfolgen Nun lese ich die Bücher auf Spanisch, um mir auch diese Sprache beizubringen. Harry Potter ist dafür hervorragend geeignet, da die Bücher, wie erwähnt, Kinder und Jugendliche ansprechen soll und die Wortwahl entsprechend einfach gehalten ist. Wer eine Fremdsprache lernen möchte, dem kann ich deshalb die HP-Bände wärmstens ans Herz legen (kleiner Tipp: haltet die deutschen Übersetzungen Griffbereit und lest die beiden Bände Seite an Seite. Das geht schneller als sich Vokabeln mühsam aus dem Wörterbuch zu suchen)

The books start getting longer from this one. Took me a while to read it but it’s worth the effort. It’s sufficiently interesting to keep you turning the page (even though you know what is going to happen) and provides a good mix of vocabulary and verb tenses (spent much of this one noting all the incidents of the imperfect subjunctive!). I have tried more ‘classic’ Spanish literature for reading practice but that can sometimes feel like a chore, whereas this was always something I looked forward to dipping into. If you’re studying Spanish it’s a good way to immerse yourself.

Es la entrega donde todo cambia: pasamos de la inocencia escolar a la verdadera oscuridad. J.K. Rowling logra que el crecimiento de Harry se sienta como el mío propio. Cada vez que lo releo, vuelvo a tener 11 años y siento que la magia, de verdad, existe. Imprescindible en mi estantería y en mi corazón.

児童図書なんて言わせません！大人でも十分楽しめます。子供時代に戻ったような気持ちで…と表現するほうが正しいのでしょうか。ハラハラ、ドキドキ、そして胸にじんわり…、今、ハリーと彼の仲間たちに出会えて本当に良かったと思わせてくれる作品だと思います。 スペイン語学習者の方にも是非お勧めします。使われている単語もわかり易く、物語を追っかけやすいです。是非読んでください！
