Why did you pick this product vs others?: This canvas mannequin head is exactly what I needed for wig making and styling! I ordered the 22-inch size and it fits most of my wig caps perfectly, especially when I'm working with dome caps or glueless units. The canvas is firm, not hollow, which keeps T-pins in place very securely. The stand included was easy to assemble and sturdy enough for styling without tipping over. Love this! Makes styling, or just keeping the wig mannequin in place. Need to order another mannequin actual head if I decide to purchase another wig! I would suggest getting one, the clamp seems sturdy. Lightweight! Very stable even in precarious position. I used it on the edge of the smaller individual guest bathroom. But it held on while drying and French braiding . I was impressed ! Just need top find a head that will work with the clamp. Although it’s sturdy, it doesn’t adjust easily with the wig head I have. Missing items based on review I expected there to be a complete set as pictured .

Prompt delivery. Head itself works well. The table champ is a whole other experience. I could not get it to stay clamped nor in place no matter how soft/hard I tightened. Would rather have a lever to tightened then the screw on to position the head proper. As you tighten the head to position it the clamp would move on the table or loosened. I even put sticking rubber peices to clamp the holder on but it still did not stay in place.

I gave this a 5 star because for the price it definitely does the job, people on the review is saying” it’s not sturdy “ It’s sturdy enough and flexible. The only thing is that it’s hard to stick the pins in, I guess the head has to be a bit heavy/hard for it to be sturdy would definitely recommend.

This is great, my only issue is the you can't lock it from tilting so it can be frustrating to be correcting it continuously. As others had commented the pins etc are a great addition especially for those starting out so you don't need to be sourcing them.

Good stand and it’s steady

This was a great purchase for working on wigs however, the wigstand that comes with it is not sturdy enough to attach to anything, and does not help, so would not recommend, unless you were buying a different stand. However, I absolutely love the wig head even without the stand. It works very well and it’s useful. The pins are the best part and it comes with a lot of pins.
