Really relaxing - shame the John Barry theme music is not more popular - needs more air time

Worth buying for the included instrumental suite from the orchestral score composed and conducted by John Barry. The rest of it is pop music.

The smooth classics of John Barry are in my opinion, the most incredible, beautiful and relaxing music in the whole of the classical world, his music is timeless, and l just wish he had been buried in his native York where l could visit his grave and pay my most sincere respects for a truly musical genius.

I bought this initially for the soundtrack by John Barry, which is brilliant. The score by Barry is to his usual high standard and his arrangements as always are beautiful, evocative and very moving. However to my surprise the rest of the cd is filled with tracks by various artists. Most of them are pleasant easy listening which are perfect background music when I am in the house/car alone. Very pleased with my purchase.

The John Barry "Theme" lasting 25 minutes is worth the CD alone . John Barry - Easy listening to relax the mind after a hectic day .
