Dry mouth is not only annoying, but for CPAP users it’s a dental disaster. These tablets are great! I use one each in opposite cheeks and even if they melt during the night, they're still doing their job.

If you have a problem with dry mouth these are by far the best option. I was on medications after a surgery and tried everything for my dry mouth. The toothpaste, sprays, mouth rinse and lozenges. Nothing worked well. Last year, my husband ended up in the hospital and the medication was giving him dry mouth. He had seen an advertisement for Xylimelts and wanted to try them. I had to go to a specialty pharmacy to get them. Even though a web search says most pharmacies have these, they don’t. My husband tried them and said they were perfect. These actually stick to your gums. So unlike regular lozenges that you can not sleep with, you can put one in your mouth and go to sleep! They stay in place so you do not have to worry about choking or drooling it out of your mouth. They are are not “slickery” like some that work for just a little while. These stay in place and pretty much help you make your own saliva. And because they stay in place, you do not end up crunching them like a piece of candy. They do not melt quickly. They melt slow while on your gums. That gives you hours of rest without waking up feeling like your mouth needs to be pried open. And... do you know how much your teeth are affected when you have severe dry mouth? I actually got a cavity which is why I started using biotene and any other brand I could find. I wish I had heard of Xylimelts sooner. I recently had another surgery and used this. Much better tasting, no constant spraying or sucking on mints. Just put this on your gums in the back of your mouth and forget it! Great product.

My husband feels that this helps his dry mouth, but I wonder if he thinks they are candy? Enjoy.

Absolutely Amazing product!! Finally something that really lasts the whole night keeping your mouth moist! Especially for mouth breathers and people using a C/pap Machine!! Can’t stress enough how effective the mints really work. And prevents plaque from forming on your teeth. Just amazing! Way to go.

We discovered these for my dad who is constantly complaining of a dry mouth. He had tried several other products and after trying these he can not be without them. He says they last a long time in the side of your mouth and provide a lot of moisture. He uses one at bedtime and it helps throughout the night,I'm not sure if your supposed to use when going to bed but he won't sleep without one. These are much more affordable here on Amazon than in store.

My second review because I've used them so long now. Were first recommended by a dentist due to receding gums related to mouth-breathing at night. My mouth's dryness was hideously uncomfortable. Now I also use a Bi-PAP machine for Apnea, and the air from those make your mouth even worse, like desert dry. I stick a Xyalmelt on the gum, right above my front tooth, and my oral cavity stays hydrated all night long. It doesn't bug me either, I don't even feel it there. I've just discovered the 100 ct. bottles of these, I'd always purchased the foil push-packs before. The price per disc drops by more than half by purchasing the bottles, so I am stocking up! This is a great product if you suffer dry mouth from meds, mouth breathing, Bi-PAP or whatever. No fear of choking on it either, it stays exactly where you place it with no slipping. They are a miracle life saver to me. I will never be able to stop using these, nightly. Thank you.

I've just been diagnosed with Sjögrens syndrome. One of my main symptoms is a very dry mouth with reduced production of saliva. I also take lots of medicines that dry the mouth and I really wish I had known about these ages ago. They were recommended to me and I can definitely recommend them too. I do use them constantly. Personally i have absolutely no side effects although it does say there are some slight ones. Love them. Life savers.
