NOW Essential Oils, Lemongrass Oil, Undiluted, Steam Distilled, 4 fl. oz

Smells wonderful!

This is THE BEST tea tree oil I've ever used. It is MUCH stronger than ALL other brands I have tried! Use this brand 2 judge ALL others! I have been buying this brand for years & recently made the mistake of buying a different brand that was supposedly 100% tea tree oil; but, it was not as potent as NOW brand tea tree oil. I reordered NOW brand, & I will never buy tea tree oil from that other brand. At first, the smell & taste is totally GROSS; but, U become accustomed 2 it as U realize the health benefits. The 16 oz. size is a GREAT value at this price. HINT: U can dilute it with coconut, or almond oil B4 applying it directly to skin. HINT: Add a few drops of peppermint, or eucalyptus oil to the mixture to improve the smell. WARNING: I read it is toxic 2 birds; so, beware. WARNING: I spilled this whilst attempting 2 pour in2 a smaller bottle bc white plastic inhibitor inside the bottle came out. WARNING: I am NOT responsible 4 ANY information that I have regurgitated here from others’ information & online research. Records indicate that tea tree oil has been used for thousands of years by various indigenous people. Some of the many traditional healing uses purported for tea tree oil include: Acne Aftershave: face, legs & bikini area & razor Bumps Antiseptic 4 insect bites, sores, cuts, sunburns & other burns Chickenpox Cold sores Colds, sinus, chest congestion (Add 2 vaporizer, bath water, or put couple drops on the shower wall.)(I usually use NOW Eucalyptus & NOW peppermint oil 4 this) Dandruff, or itching scalp (Add a small amount 2 shampoo) Deodorant Disinfectant & cleaning: wounds Disinfectant & cleaning: Natural All Purpose Cleaner 4 your Home Disinfectant & cleaning: laundry (add a few drops) Dry cuticles Earaches Halitosis (bad breath) Use one drop tea tree oil and one drop of NOW peppermint oil in 1 teaspoon of pure coconut oil. Swish in your mouth & expectorate! (If U put 2 much tea tree oil in it--it will gag U & U might vomit!) Hormonal cysts: helps prevents hormonal cysts from developing into full blown cysts. Apply after mixing about 2-3 drops with 1 pump of DML lotion. Infections: Bacterial Infections: Fungal (Athlete's Foot, Ringworm, candida, jock itch & toenail fungus) Infections: MRSA Infections: Prohibit from piercings, scrapes, cuts, insect bites and burns. Infections: Staph Boils Lice prevention (Add a small amount 2 shampoo) Lice treatment (mix 2 teaspoons with eight ounces of baby shampoo, and let it soak in the hair for at least 30 minutes. Rinse with water; then, rinse with a 50/50 vinegar mixture; then, comb out the hair & repeat the wash. Mold killer & preventer Mouthwash (I use as mouthwash. It Prevents Gum Disease and Fight Cavities.) Muscle Soother & Reliever: Feet, back, stomach, any muscles--NOT 4 your eyes!) Skin Rashes (i.e., eczema, psoriasis, poison ivy, dermatitis, skin depigmentation caused by tinea versicolor, etc.)(use full strength twice a day) Skin Tags: A couple of drops on a band aid--do NOT pull off skin tag-WAIT 4 it 2 fall off! Spa Foot soak Toothpaste (I use as toothpaste. It Prevents Gum Disease and Fight Cavities.) Wart Removal: A couple of drops on a band aid--do NOT pull off wart-WAIT 4 it 2 fall off! LOVE IT!

🍋 NOW brand Lemongrass Scent is devine, I love the smell. Does what it's intended to do, and mixes well.

Tea Tree oil is my miracle. I use it so much I had to buy a big bottle since it gets expensive when you are constantly buying small bottles. I refill my tiny dark glass bottles with this large one. I then store the large bottle in a dark shelf. This oil will dry up ANY pimple you have. I have very sensitive skin. Use it wisely, at the beginning don't use it undiluted. After you apply tea tree oil, make sure you don't exfoliate your skin for a few days. Tea tree oil usually peels the areas I put the oil onto. It has helped a lot with my acne scars. It sometimes causes redness and dryness but it will peel those areas in a few days. Just make sure you DON'T exfoliate. Be gentle for the next few days. That was my biggest mistake when I first started using in high school and hated it. I thought my skin wasn't suitable with it and it look like a raw reddish color b/c I wasn't using it properly. Now, I use it when I have pimples. Since I've been using it for so long, I can use undiluted tea tree oil on my acne as a spot treatment. Due to its anti fungal properties, it will kill cystic acne and get to the root of the pimple. I also add about 10 drops to my 2 oz bottle of toner made of witch hazel, green tea and ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar). You have to experiment with the measurements, some places suggest 1 part of each: green tea, witch hazel, and ACV. That is too much ACV for my face, it will turn flaming red. Instead, I fill up half the bottle with a concentrated brew of green tea, fill about a third of the bottle with witch hazel and about 1 cap full of ACV (Bragg's). Then I put 10 drops of tea tree oil and 5-6 pierced gel capsules of vitamin E. This has done wonders for my constant acne problems. My acne isn't 100% gone but it is definitely tamed compared to what it used to be. I like to make small batches at a time so its always fresh. The green tea is soothing and the caffeine in is great for the skin topically. ACV puts back acid in skin (balances pH levels) that is usually interrupted by constantly washing your face. I feel that this is one of the reasons why I break out less. My pH level on my skin is more balanced. Witch hazel is great for irritated skin. Tea tree oil to reduce sebum buildup. Vitamin E oil to combat scarring. Good luck!

I had a bottle of this Lemongrass essential oil I bought a few years ago and I loved how strong the aroma was when I used it in my diffuser and in my soap. When I ran out I bought some other brands because of the price and they were all very disappointing after using the Now brand lemongrass. I bought this Now brand again and it's just as pleasantly strong as the the first bottle of lemongrass that I enjoyed so much.

The product is fine, but the bottle leaked about 1/4 of it's contents.

Edited: I contacted NOW about the bad bottles of tea tree oil I received and they were immediately responsive and helpful. They paid to ship the problem bottles back to investigate what went wrong. They also refunded my cost. I am very impressed by their customer service and would definitely buy from them again. I will say that, up until the two problem bottles I got from the same batch, NOW has been the utmost in quality for tea tree oil. I have relied on them. I will now feel safe doing so again. NOW is honorable and can be trusted to take care of their customers. I am impressed. Previous review: Unfortunately this isn't eligible for a return to Amazon or I would return it. I've bought NOW brand tea tree oil for ages and it's been a reliable brand, but the current batch not only does not smell like tea tree oil (that pine-esque, clean scent) and does smell like rotting orange seeds, it also DOES NOT HAVE THE IMPORTANT ACTIONS OF TEA TREE OIL. I've been using tea tree oil nightly to keep demodex at bay. As long as I have quality tea tree oil, it works. With this bad batch of tea tree oil, the demodex are again getting out of control. [Removing portions of original review that no longer apply.] I am leaving the single part of the critique that still holds true: the current bottle's safety mechanism is a menace. Pressing down sufficiently hard to engage the release is painful and difficult. Anyone with arthritis or elderly hands probably couldn't manage it. I hope NOW considers adopting a safety mechanism that doesn't require great hand strength.

Love this oil, it smells so amazing and I really like this specific brand. They shipped almost a week sooner than it originally said it would which was very unexpected an amazing! They then emailed me after asking how I was enjoying the product. Great service and great product, would highly recommend!
