Great camera, great customer service
I bought this camera about a month ago to replace a Furrion that I was never really happy with and had become so blurry it was unusable. Based on price, I was a little leery at first. How well would a camera that costs less than $100 work?Installation was simple, especially since I had the existing shark fin from my previous camera. I had a couple of questions, and emailed customer service. Their response was quick and helpful. I also requested a windshield mount for the monitor. This will be sent for free, but you have to request it.Based on installation, customer service and testing at home, I gave it 5 stars. Prior to submitting a review, however, I wanted to test it on the road. We just returned from a 2,000 mile trip and I would still give it 5 stars! The camera and monitor (7”!) preformed flawlessly. There was no loss of signal at all, and the picture is crisp. It really helped out backing into sites. The only con is using this with the shark fin. The fin causes the camper to point down more than I’d like, not giving a very distant view. Its great for backing and seeing what is immediately behind the camper, but I’d like just a little bit more distance. I’ll work on a way to adjust the camera angle.

Great 1080P single camera wireless backup system !
I bought this wireless system for my Claas 760tt combine so I could see behind the machine where my mirrors can not . This has to be one of the easiest and fastest installs for a wireless system I have ever done ! This system would be great for any piece of equipment or large rv / trailer or even semi truck . My camera is placed about 30-35 feet away from the monitor and the wireless signal is 4 or 5 bars all the time. All you have to do with this system is wire the camera into your back up light circuit or like I did wire it up to a accessory plug/switched outlet and then plug the monitor into your cigarette lighter or 12 volt accessory plug . So as I said earlier if you want a simple wireless system to install with good quality picture at a fair price you might want to give this a try !

As good as the big name ones
Comparing what we’ve seen after installing our Rohent 2 antenna system to what we’ve seen in video reviews for the MUCH more expensive Furion system, I’ve got to say it compares extremely well! And at a huge price savings. The included windshield mount works very well, although I had to fabricate a rubber washer to keep the monitor tight and not jiggle loose while driving. There is also a sturdy metal frame included for mounting to a solid surface. The camera was easy to install on our new Freedom Express Ultra Light. The trailer was pre wired for a different camera. Took off the plastic mounting cover on the trailer and drilled a hole to snugly fit the power plug from the camera, replaced the pre wired plug with the included pigtail from Rohent. I did have to drill two additional holes in the metal camera mount that matched up with the original camera mount plate from the trailer, so no new holes in the trailer at all.The night vision lights were not nearly as easy to check before install as shown on the YouTube video. Thought they didn’t work until we checked after install in the dark. Yep, they work very well. The video is great. Some lag while moving. Will purchase an extended antenna to see if that helps. The only real disappointment is that there’s no microphone on this camera model, so you can’t rely on audible cues when backing up. It’s not a surprise as there’s no mention of a microphone in the product description.Definitely a product I highly recommend, and probably going to add additional cameras.

Good rear observation camera
UPDATE: After about 8 months of being outside the camera mount on the trailer is rusted and will need some paint or rust neutralizer to fix the rust. The car camera mount suction latch (plastic) broke and made the mount unable to be used due to no ability to suction the device. We taped the remaining stand to a computer mouse pad. This is a much better solution than the original. The mouse pad keeps the monitor from moving, it is not permanently attached to the dash and can be easily removed when not it use much easier than the suction cup option. Also, the monitor can be moved while driving by the passenger allowing them to watch or turned towards the driver or adjusted for both passenger an driver to view. I do not use this as a backup camera. The camera was purchased not for the backup ability, but to use on the highway as a rearview mirror substitute while towing a travel trailer. The bracket that allows for tilting the camera does not allow the camera to be raised high enough to comfortably view traffic. I had to leave one of the adjustment screws out of the bracket to raise it high enough. Cranked it down tight and that seems to work. There is not much vibration here, so I just check it frequently. Plus, if it drops down when I am driving i would know it immediately. The camera works fine and the picture quality is good. I was concerned with lag, but it has very little lag and is most often in near real time. The lines on the screen help with changing lanes. I don't have a Furion pre-wired base, but the installation was fairly easy and straightforward. Like many others, I had to use my power source from the lights at the top of the trailer and that means at least the parking lights of the vehicle must be on for it to work and receive power. Works both day and night. Adjustments and settings are a bit cumbersome at first, but once we learned how to do it, they were much more friendly. The manual for adjustment info was seriously lacking and pretty much worthless. We did it by trial and lots of errors. Overall, for the price, I got what I needed. A safe way to watch the traffic behind me. I have tried to use it a little as a backup camera, but I wouldn't use it without a spotter. I didn't buy it for a backup camera to park our travel trailer and not sure any camera would make me comfortable. The screen size is very nice. I would not want to go smaller. I had to glue the screen shade in place because it kept falling off. The windshield attachment arrangement is Rube Goldberg and a real pain. Couldn't someone make a small weighted stand? Our dashboard surface will not allow suction and I am not going to put screws in anywhere. So that leaves the suction to the windshield option on an SUV where the windshield is about 100 yards down the hood (just kidding) but really a long ways and a pain to reach it to suction this thing. We also put a rubber brace underneath the unit to keep some weight and vibration off the suction arm. Not really a satisfactory solution. I need one of these and this one is priced right and does the job. I could recommend it you based on these expectations.

Great camera and easy to install
We bought a Grand Design Reflection 28RL and it was pre-wired for a back up camera. Read the reviews and figured we would try it out. Glad we did! Easy to install and hook up. The camera can be adjusted to watch the back of your trailer or the vehicles behind you while driving. The display is clear and easy to use, plug in and push the button, make sure you turn on your vehicle lights to get a connection. The picture is clear and has nice color and it has a lane display. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a back up camera!

Impressed with the quality and installation options
I am highly impressed with this system. There are numerous options on Amazon and online in general, and I took a little time look at cost, features, and reviews, but it is always still somewhat of a crap shoot. When it arrived, I was impressed by three things that are not a given:1. Quality of the product. Everything is very solidly built, and when I removed the back from the camera, everything is "potted" in, e.g. completely sealed. I truly believe you could submerge this and it would work (but I wouldn't recommend trying that)2. Installation hardware. There are multiple options, with a selection of ways to install the camera and the monitor, which all seem high quality and add cost to the manufacturer to provide3. Packaging. Might seem trivial, but I have definitely received other orders with components rattling around in a tissue paper box. I appreciate that it came in custom packing designed specifically for this product. As far as usage, the manual talks about several ways to improve reception from the wireless camera, and frankly, the time spent on this in the manual concerned me that this might be an issue. However, I mounted it on the back of a 20' box trailer, turned on the monitor, and it worked beautifully right away, and have never once experienced any reception problems, poor images, etc, without any herioics on my part to get the two items to talk to each other. (One gotcha to watch out for - I say "worked immediately", but I had hit a button when setting the monitor on my dashboard, so the camera and the monitor started out on different channels. It took me a moment to notice, and then hitting the channel button fixed it instantly.)Very satisfied with the purchase. I did send an email to the manufacturer asking for my "additional free accessory" as promised in the manual, so we'll see if that materializes, how long it takes, etc. That wasn't part of my purchase decision, so if that turns out to be a hassle, it doesn't really affect my experience with the camera, but would be annoying. I will update on that later.Update: I did get the free accessory about 30 days after sending in the request. Nice unexpected add to my purchase.

Best RV Upgrade
After 4 or 5 trips about 1500 miles total, I must say this is an extremely nice Back up camera, very clear picture and not a single lost connection. My old camera lost connection every few minutes and sometimes only regained connection every hour or two.Easy enough to install myself and at a very nice price. Definitely well worth the money.

3rd unit in 2 years. Just doesn't last.
I have had 3 units in 2 years and they have all quit working. This last time it was out of warranty. The mom monitor works but can not connect to the camera to display an image. I've tested all of the connections and I am getting power to both units. There is no way to tell if the camera is accepting power. A red led light on the camera would be nice to let you know you the unit has power. The wireless connectivity was not the greatest. I have a 40ft rig and the distance between camera and monitor is roughly 35 feet. I continuously lost signal and it was always laggy. Seemed to be worse in city traffic or climbing in elevation. The suction cup for the windshield always broke and had to be put back together but it usually held. The menu buttons were difficult to press but it was not that much of a bother once you are on a roll. Things I did like were ease of installation. The prewired furion adapter wire plus the adapter plate made the install a breeze. I liked the monitors power supply and how it was 2 pieces. The monitor had a great picture when it worked. The monitor size is perfect and the shade cover for the screen is so helpful. I'm not sure what I will get next, I really wanted this one to work. Even with the lagging the unit was worth it based on the price point. Tech support is too generic to be helpful. We take a trip about 6 times a year so I don't believe I got enough usage for it to fail, maybe I just have bad luck.

Really clear image
We purchased this camera for use with our truck and 24' trailer. Fairly easy to install, the Furrion adapter worked well. Now when we are travelling we have a clear view of vehicles behind us, and also have assistance when backing into an RV site. The image is very clear, consistently so. Over the past few months the camera has been rained on and snowed on, but it is fine and is working well. Have not tried the night vision yet, so cannot comment on that. Overall really pleased, so much cheaper than the brand name cameras, but honestly seems just as good.

Easy set up, excellent range.
Excellent instructions, comes with test kit for set up. Excellent range, mounted on the back of our caravan, still working when my car was put into the shed with the door closed 30 metres away .

OEM Quality without exorbitant price
Our RV came equipped with Furrion bracket with pre-wiring for easy install but Furrion Back Up Camera was in $800 range!!! We started looking for alternatives and came across Rohent Back Up Camera System. We were initially hesitant and apprehensive due to great pricing by Rohent. Delivery arrived quickly with installation instructions in a variety of scenarios. Furrion adapter was included. Just removed the plate, connected the wire, powered up the RV with 7pin and Display Screen with switchable cigarette plug. Wireless Pairing was easy. Even though Rear Camera was installed about 40' away from the screen, Picture Quality was great without any jitter. Option to purchase additional cameras and pairing with one screen offers multiple angles. Night Mode was surprisingly clear. We installed 128gb SD Card for recording purposes that acts as a Rearview Dash Cam while driving. Simple Menu layout is easy to configure. Contacted Rohent regarding a few questions and response was quick and very helpful. Overall very impressed with our purchase and strongly recommend it any one in the market for this type of product.
