Worked Great for APC PDU 7920
This worked like a charm to get me into a APC PDU 7920 via PuTTY. Windows 10 Pro (20H2) did not automatically find the driver via Windows Update but the link in the product description took me to exactly what I needed. It took less than a minute to download and install the driver, change the COM port to 3 in PuTTy and I was able to access the PDU interface to factory reset it and set a static IP. Highly recommended if you want a RJ11 to USB cable and do not want to use a serial to USB converter (many of these have issues due to the pin configuration that the APC units use).

It does in fact do the thing! Able to set IP settings for RPDUs easilly.

Bad QC — Heats up to 115F
Hit or miss on quality control, mine heats up to ~110-120F and never shows up as a device in windows. I’m sure the design works but not my unit, buy at your own risk.

Get VERY hot and didn't work on windows
Used on macOS it worked but was very hot, plugged in to windows and stopped working all together.

Works on APC AP7941
Worked great. I needed to download the driver from the description section and install Putty. Once I entered the new COM port number listed under device manager into Putty and pressed enter I was able to login and reset the PDU.
