It has 3 indicators that status the power pack's charge condition - 29%, 59%, and 100%. They also indicate when it is charging when plugged into a USB port via a cable. The combination lasted 5 nights before it had to be charged again. This is certainly sufficient for a weekend trip to the mountains. Review: so helpful - We bought this for my mother's phonak audeo m-50 hearing aides case because she is in a nursing home for a broken hip. She can now charge her hearing aides herself since she is not mobile enough to cross her room to the desk and charge them with the plug-in. We only have to charge the power pack every once in a while for her. These has considerably lessened our worry that she would have dead hearing aides in the morning. We were not sure if the case plug-in(USB type thingy) would be the same for the power pack - it is!! The case fit perfectly on the power pack and it just looks like it is part of the original case. Her audiologist office told us there was no charging case for her hearing aides and apparently did not know about this option.
