Set of 3 Sesame Street Juice Box Drink Holders (Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird)

Sesame Street Juice Box Drink Holders purchased from Amazon, reviewed on 2.24.18 In December of 2017 my daughter was just starting to drink from juice boxes on a regular basis and she was having the predictable reaction of many many “over squeeze” style spills. I did my research and ended up sorting the available box holders into the following categories: - Minimalist: $3-6 each, plain rectangular box, plain handles - Sesame street set: $3-4 each, fun designs, rounded handles - Super styles $6-12 each, ( mydrinky, and others) with covering lids and sleek styles I ended up choosing the Sesame Street set for a variety of reasons. First, I liked that they came in a set. One for grandma and two for us is the right number for being able to find one when you need it. Second, I liked the slightly ergonomic handles, they looked comfy! Third, and this was a judgement call, I like that there was NOT a lid. I knew that I was asking for some “dumped out box” disasters, but I’ve already taken away the obligation to not squeeze if you want juice, and I want my daughter to learn that a container of liquid DOES work better right side up. How will she ever use a cup otherwise? ... So the first big question to answer with them in hand is: do they fit the boxes? Well, I got one of every box in my pantry and the results are: yes. Honest Kids Juice bags, Adam and Eve Boxes and Minute Maid boxes all fit perfectly. On a whim I stuck a Gerber Grabbers in there, although they don’t spill very often. The plastic is hard, seems like a good quality, the handles do feel nice, and they are all the same size. If you buy a different brand of juice box, the measurements are 2 inches by 3 inches by 4 inches. Also, be aware that this is not a cup. There is a hole in the bottom which makes it easier to clean, but impossible to use without a box or bag. ... The next big question is: does it work? As with all things toddler, the first time was “no”. It was new and weird and she wouldn’t have anything to do with it. So I stuffed it in the cupboard and forgot about it. A few weeks later I came back from a meeting to see that my husband had got it out and she loved it (eyeroll, kids!) Now it works anytime I remember to use it. She has gotten better over the last few months at juice BOXES, so it is possible to make those work solo, but where these really shine are for juice BAGS. We’ll be using these for years on juice bags (see end note) ... Final verdict: 5/5. As advertised, basic rectangular juice box holder. Works well for boxes and a dream come true for juice bags. Will continue to use them. ... In the name of full disclosure, after I got all the juice boxes/bags out to take the picture I decided to abscond with one of those nice bags of organic tangerine juice for myself... parent’s privilege right? Well, the first thing I did was the classic “whale spout” spill just as the straw was cutting and the pressure was on. Second thing I did? Let it fall over while I turned to get a towel. Moral of the story? I should have used a juice bag holder... no shame kiddos!

I have 8 grandchildren and 6 of them are old enough to use these all the time. Juice boxes in general are not designed for kids. Squirts everywhere! These are perfect, drop the box in the holder and they hold onto the handles and no squirting! Great thing.

My daughter loves them. Only negative is the Sesame street juice boxes are to small for them.

Very high quality juice box holders. Purchased for two autistic children that love juice boxes but always squeeze the things everywhere! Couldn’t find any nice ones in my country (England) and the UK amazon site was too expensive so I purchased via amazon.com. The colours are bright and they was very well. My daughters were very pleased to see the Sesame Street characters on them and loved them straight away.

Perfect for my daughter. Juice pouch still falls out of the top if tipped, I wish there was something in the top to prevent that but it does help from squeeze spills

Well built, great grandson loved them due to the characters. Unfortunately normal size juice boxes do not fit in these holders, way too big! If you want functional juice box holders, these are not for you! My grandson thinks they are some sort of toy, so I am not sending them back. If he had not seen them I would have returned them for my money back.

Bought for a 2 year old. Holders are too large for juice boxes .

These are great! They are bigger than all the juice boxes we buy but it doesn't bother my daughter and it helps me not have a mess to clean up every time she wants a juice box.
