For years I have been using body wash to shave, but over time it was not working out because I noticed my skin was so dry after toweling off. Also, I noticed a fair amount more ingrown hairs and bumpy skin. So I decided to get shaving cream to see if it might help. This shave gel exceeded my expectations and is absolutely wonderful. My skin feels so much softer, no more bumps, and hydrates the skin. No dry skin for me anymore! My skin has been so hydrated, I pretty much don't even need to use body lotion after. I love this shave gel, it smells great,makes skin so soft, and I love the amount you get for the price. These are not mini either, they are full size and worth every penny. I truly recommend if you want a smoother shave/skin, and are in need of hydration after you shave.

I am a man and I bought this gel because I could not find a gel without BHT or other potentially harmful preservatives or parabens, which cause hormonal imbalances in the body in large quantities, liver and kidney failure and cancer. I do not want to use such substances in my shaving products even in small quantities, which are declared safe for health. I bought this gel because it does not contain dangerous chemicals except for the dye of course, but at least it is not parabens or BHT, which is contained in all Gillette gels and their shave cream too (I just recently discovered BHT in the ingredient list of my Gillette shaving cream. Threw it in the trash and only use Barbasol cream for now. I hope they don't screw it up like other companies). This gel is produced by the same company as gel Edge, which are known for not using potentially harmful chemicals in their products. But the men's edge gel is stinky to my taste, and they do not produce a hypoallergenic odorless and dye-free one anymore, I think. In any case, it is much more difficult to find it now. This gel has a good consistency and not excessive fragrance. But it almost doesn't foam at all comparing to men's shave gel. And it does not smell like strawberries at all. I ordered it specifically because of the strawberry scent, but it doesn't smell like it. The aroma is not strong and quite pleasant though. It suits me for shaving and it is also good for shaving armpits. The only thing, of course, I would like it to foam better and smell like strawberries, as stated. I wish to order other fragrances of this brand and will write a review about them too. I want to buy aloe, because I love all products with aloe, especially in gels and shaving foams, and I want to try raspberry, because I like the transparent consistency of that gel, which I saw in the video in the review of another customer. And this gel and the aloe one - are opaque. I most likely will not buy coconut scent , because I came across many reviews with information that the bottle loses pressure after half and you have to throw it away half full. By the way, for the same reason I did not want to buy edge men's gels. In addition, they all have an excessive stinky smell.
