Cinelli Cork Gel Bicycle Handlebar Tape in Multiple Colors

Really nice bar tape. I really like the texture that the cork imparts, and the gel is noticeable in the way it helps isolate road vibrations from your hands. The plastic end caps are nothing special, but I suppose they are functional. I did not use them, instead I have a nice pair of metal ones that expand inside the tube. The gel did NOT add too much diameter to the bars, which I like. The logo is subtle and most are either covered or partially covered. The tape has a thin adhesive line down the center, and the set includes two ample rolls, one for each side, along with two small strips to cover the spot behind the hoods. And the set also includes two sticky strips meant to seal the inner (loose) ends of the bar tape. These appeared to be well made, being heavy plasticy material with a strong adhesive. However they almost immediately started to come loose, and it was difficult to remove them without tearing the underlying bar tape. I did finally get the strips removed and replaced them with electrical tape covered with self-sealing, non-adhesive silicone tape, which looks and works really well. I got the white tape, so I shall see how it holds up under use and if it stays reasonably clean. I sweat a lot and normally ride road bike without gloves. I was happy with the grip they allowed, even with sweaty hands. And my hands don't go numb quite so quickly as they did with the old regular tape (probably also Cenelli, but not gel or cork).

Love this handlebar tape. It's thick, soft and comfortable. Have bought it for both of my bicycles.

I bought both the cork gel and ribbon versions to replace and compare tape on my SL8 carbon bars and Roubaix metal bars. I prefer the cork gel tape over the ribbon. I had used $45 highly acclaimed bar tape previously. This tape was >half the price and I like it much more. The tape goes on easy, comes with plenty of wrap, doesn’t have that rubbery texture of the expensive tape. The tape appears like it will absorb some shock and vibrations, certainly more than the expensive tape. It comes with a short length of tape which is used with some brake set up. I didn’t use it. The end cap is pretty useless, no collet to secure tightly. I reused the ones I had. This will be my go to tape from now on.

This tape is great and very soft and comfortable when riding. I do agree with the comments about the securing tape not holding very well.

I needed to replace the original thin plastic bar tape on my vintage road bike and this was a perfect choice. Enough to wrap the entire drop bar. It has a double tacky strip inside the tape to help secure it but thankfully no adhesive strip so it is easy to rewrap if you are new to wrapping handlebars. Easy to unwrap and fix your mistakes. I didn’t use the supplied end caps which simply push in but reused my better quality original screw in caps instead.

Used this many times over the years. There is nothing to beat it for comfort, long-wearing life, ease of installation, as long as you use electrical tape instead of the finishing tape supplied (but that is true for all bar tape, in my experience). Additional tip: get SaveMyBar end caps from Close The Gap instead of using the bar plugs supplied. Makes installing the bar tape so much easier. Just slips over the end of the bars, secured with electrical tape and you wind the bar tape around it, instead of struggling to tuck it into the end of the bars and fix the bar plugs. Again, this applies whichever bar tape you use. As used by Visma LeaseABike, so can't be bad!

The tape is good thickness and feels really nice when gripping. This is the first time I used this particular tape and so far I really like it. This tape does not use any glue and it can be retaped and reused. It holds very well even without the glue. There was enough tape for taping my gravel bike bars, so size is good. As a nice bonus, 2 short pieces for brake levers and 2 pieces of tape were also included in the package. Overall this tape is decent value and it comes in different colors for personalization. It holds up well after a month of cycling.

Guter Grip, war auch einfach um den Lenker zu wickeln. Ich hab für den Abschluss ein eigenes Tape genommen und das mitgelieferte Tape der Optik wegen noch darüber geklebt.

Ottimo nastro manubrio. Spessore e grip lo rendono piacevole al tatto e dall'aspetto caratterizzato da piccolissimi puntini argentati...

Ich habe das vor ein paar Monaten gekauft und hat sich verfärbt, was bei einem weißen Lenkerband glaube ich nicht so ungewöhnlich ist.
