VEMER VN320800 model TMC 40/24 DIN-rail mounting safety transformer for continuous service 230V/12-24V. Color Grey

After burning out 2x of the 8-24V AC 8VA type transformers, I finally figured out that an 8VA was just not cutting it with my Botslab R810 Video Doorbell and a 40VA was needed. The Vemer VN320800 TMC 40/24 runs silently and cool. As there wasn’t room in my consumer unit I bought a small separate din enclosure to house the transformer. I had to fit the transformer upside down because of the existing wiring. It was quick and easy to fit with a small length of wire acting as a jumper cable to bridge the two connectors to achieve the 24V output. 1 month on after installing the unit is still working exactly as it should.

I got this to power my Eufy E340, been running about two months without any issues. Would highly recommend.

Terminal screws not very well designed. As one tries to terminate conductor there is problem. I consider there is design problem. I had to return the item.

It does what it says on the tin so no complaints.

Perfect transfo for the Google Nest gen3 doorbell. My previous one wasn’t able to keep the voltage, but this one is a perfect match for a video doorbell with continuous streaming.
