I know that it seems a little pricey but it works very well. I put it on my pressure washer and it worked great. Lot of foam. You have to play with the adjustment valve to adjust. How much foam you wanted to come out there? To put the hose on that goes in the bottle. Take a little bit of lubricant and put it on the nipple and the hose will slide on easy but not too much

For the price I feel this was a good purchase, I received the newer version (yellow on handle) I had never used a foam cannon before but looked into it because of an RV purchase. I can see the benefits for both my vehicles and the house with a mixture of soap and bleach. As others have complained several of the spray tips are poorly made, 2 of mine are bad, the outside edges of the pattern are more like a zero-degree tip, so verify yours on the concrete before using it on anything that can be damaged (paint, screens, wood, etc.). Several things I have read in other reviews: first of all NO this will not fit on your garden hose, it will serve no purpose if you do! it's for a pressure washer. Yes you may need to buy a fitting if you use one of the cheaper or off-brand homeowner pressure washers. To keep it working I suggest purchasing some RV antifreeze, remove the water from the gun and foam cannon (flicking it and pulling the trigger) pour a bit in the clear plastic tube of the foam cannon it will run straight thru, and some in the handle of the gun while pulling the trigger. I also suggest this for your washer pump, I have a 3-foot hose attached to mine that I fill up with the RV antifreeze and turn the engine over until it comes out pink (I do not leave my hose attached) this prevents your seals from drying out, keeps the internals from corroding and prevents damage from freezing. Where the cannon attaches to the gun handle there is an o-ring there. If you have no tip or the cannon attached to the gun and squeeze the trigger the pressure can blow the o-ring out, this will cause it to leak with these items attached (they are easy to replace (small pick) and cheap. I did not play with the adjustments on the cannon, because I was happy with the pattern. If it only sprays foam when you have it upside down, your plastic tube in the cannon is missing or fell off. If you take care of it then it should last, I will update if I have future issues.

I'm not a professional car wash guru, but I would like to think I'm not a beginner either....so somewhere in between! I've always been a "hand wash only" person because pressure washers were considered voodoo. Probably blame that on my dad, he did it by hand and I guess I just took after him....regardless.....Hooked up to the pressure washer without any problems no leaks, no threading issues. Filled it up with soap and water at the proper ratio and off I went. You do have to keep an eye on the nozzle and the mixture knob on top as you can easily empty it in one shot on only one side of the car. Once you get it to where you want to be, it works like a gem. No clogging, no sputtering, no issues. I only used two of the nozzles included aside from the gun, I used the white (automotive body) and green (wheels and undercarriage) nozzles. I have another gun from a previous manufacturer and while it was well made, it just leaked in the worst places and made me not enjoy the process. Word to the wise though, you can do a lot of bad things to your car with the wrong nozzle or even the right nozzle if you stand too close to your car. So just be careful if you're brand new starting out like I was. Just because I watched a ton of videos online, doesn't make me a pro using it!

Review for GDHXW X-887 High Pressure Washer Gun I bought this for use on my DeWalt DWPW2100 electric pressure washer. The gun fit on the stock hose without use of an adapter. The gun seems to be well built and worked well. I already had a foam cannon so I didn't test that. It comes with a number of nozzles. I tested the 15, 40, and 0 degree varieties and they all fit and worked as expected. The DeWalt nozzles also fit without issues. Overall, it worked exactly as expected and is a good deal for the price.

Works as expected. This is my first foam canon so not much to compare it to. Very happy with its function and price, was delivered in good time.

Not all of the parts are interchangeable and usable, right out of the box.You have to get other adapters to even bring the unit online terrible instructions.I threw mine in the garbage will never buy one of these again
