You need to purchase 220V to 110V converter for operating this mashine

Bought this waffle maker after extensive research and reading a lot of reviews but I have to say..dont believe anything until you see it for yourself. Used this 1 time and it made decent waffles but wouldnt turn on the next time. I called up customer service of ibhejo and they said it is now out of return period. Got the product on 20/05 and got spoilt the second time i turned it on i.e 27/05. Now after spending all that money im left with a waffle maker that doesnt work and cannot be returned. Great service ibhejo.

No this belgian waffle maker will not work in india. The issue is not just 220 to 110 volts alone. The wattage is 1000 watts. The converter that you get in small shops is maximum 100 watts i guess. So for this you need a 220 to 110 converter that works with a power of atleast 1500 watts. Literal meaning is step down voltage very rapidly. That is if small one converts 220 to 110 in 10 seconds you need to have a converter than do in 1 second. Draws more power. see powermex converters. But the converters are very huge it would'nt look normal to buy such huge converters finally for a small waffle. Always see power rating of appliance. 220 to 110 is alone not a criteria.

La wafflera es de gran calidad. El teflón de la misma y la mezcla precisa hacen que los waffles salgan grandes y pachoncitos. Las instrucciones del instructivo son claras, solo es cuestión de tomarse el tiempo para leerlo. Pero realmente todo es muy intuitivo; dejar calentar la wafflera, vertir la mezcla y esperar el tiempo de cocción que se recomiende o considere y listo. Un punto importante a mencionar, el mango para rotar la wafflera se calienta después de haber hecho 3 o 4 waffles, recomiendo usar guantes de cocina para evitar sentir el mismo calor intenso de la wafflera. :)

Was extremely surprised and happy with how well this works. No sticking. Perfect crispy fluffy waffles. Not thin eggo type waffles, thick and deep waffles like you would get in a restaurant. Note the timer on this thing sucks, and thankfully has absolutely no bearing on cooking and no interaction with the heating or temperature of the waffle maker. I don’t even use it and they should probably remove it from the machine. If the timer was required for this to work, I probably would have returned the machine. So glad it doesn’t even need the timer turned on to work and OK with…the waffles are that good, and I prefer one less fiddly thing to go wrong with the machine or cooking. This machine has 1 temperature setting, pre-dialled in and perfect. As a simple waffle iron - plug in, it heats up, you use it - I can’t imagine anything working better or more simply than this. My usage: Follow box mix recipe for waffles, I have used several they all work. Don’t forget to add the correct amount of oil to the batter, as per box instructions.. Don’t grease the machine at all. Zero grease on the machine ever. Preheat until the light goes out. Pour batter, if it’s too thick or unevenly poured, tilt the machine slightly until it’s evenly distributed. The large cool handles are perfect for this. Close and flip. Flip again after 2 minutes. 4 minutes 30 seconds total cook time seems perfect. Don’t have to wash the machine or even wipe it down after, nothing sticks they just come right out.

I usually write a review after few uses, but this waffle maker is so great I had to write a review after one use. Upon receiving the waffle maker, the first thing I wanted to do was to wash the grill before using for the first time. But as the grills do not detach, I wiped the grill with a wet paper towel and hoped that was good enough to get rid of any germs/chemicals. The waffle maker is super easy to use, functions just like in the manufacturer's video. I plugged in the cord and the red light turned on immediately. The grills take about two minutes to heat up so I recommend making your batter first and plug in the waffle maker while your batter is resting. I'm kinda lazy so I made my batter from a mix. The kind you just add water. But I did add a table spoon of oil to a cup of batter. Mix the batter to a thinner consistency than you would for a pancake, and let it rest for four minutes. Once the waffle maker feels hot, pour in your batter (1 cup), cover and flip. Set the timer to four minutes and wait. The waffle maker beeps once at the 60 sec remainder mark and it turns itself off too at this point. The waffle came out nicely colored and very crisp on the outside but still bit chewy on the inside. I love the size of the waffle. It's thick, like the kind you get at a diner. But I have to say I liked my waffle better than the ones I get at the local diner! Cleanup is a cinch too. Because I didn't let the batter overflow and the batter doesn't stick to the grills, I just wipe the grills with a wet paper cloth once the grills cooled down before putting it away. I'll update the review if anything goes wrong in future use. But I hope this waffle maker keeps functioning like it did its first time making a waffle!!!

El aparatejo me encantó. Los waffles salen de muy buen tamaño. Es súper práctica porque la puedes acomodar en cualquier lado paradita. El instructivo viene en inglés pero puedes entenderle muy bien y si no, puedes descargar el manual en español. La he usado más de 3 veces y en todas he notado que la cocción no es pareja, ya que de un lado el waffle queda estupendo pero del otro no termina por cocerse, intenté poniendole un poco más de tiempo pero solo quemó las partes que ya estaban cocidas. De verdad que tenía muchas expectativas, quedé un poco decepsionada pero no me rendiré hasta encontrar el punto exacto. Espero no morir en el intento

First one lasted 18 years until the ceramic started peeling. Once I saw the same model was still in production, I immediately got another without even bothering to look at other brands, which is rare for me as I usually like to try different things. It makes great waffles, cleans up easy, and lasts forever. I probably used it twice weekly over those 18 years. I'm also happy that it's ceramic and not teflon or such. One of my best investments ever. The only slight knock is I do prefer the previous model's timer since it had a seconds display and let you adjust by 15 second intervals, and also used AAA battery whereas the new one uses a watch battery. (FWIW I think I only had to replace the battery once or twice in the 18 years). I find it funny that people complain about the timer here though: since it's battery-powered and easy to set for under 10 minutes (single button, press the button once for each minute), I like it enough that I actually leave the waffle maker on the counter permanently and use it as my egg timer too. Just wish it still had the 15-second button and display too. Easily five stars
