Queen of Hearts Costume for Adults, Women's Standard

I really am happy with this dress. I don't like the corset though, it is kinda cheap and doesn't stay in place well. I might go without or just try to find another to go over it. It looks fine without it though. I read a couple of reviews before I bought it stating it was small, and I just don't see that. Someone said they are an 8-10 and it wouldn't fit a larger girl. Well, after 3 kids I use to be an 8 but usually go 10-12 for dresses now and can say it fits me wonderfully and would fit me at an 8 and could probably fit a 14 just fine just like they say. I also don't think you need to be terribly "busty" as the other reviews read. This fits me wonderfully everywhere, I am wearing 4" queen of hearts heels with it and it is the perfect height. I would think it would be a little long for me if I did not have the heels though. I am 5'4. Basically all around I like the dress for the price it is perfect, just the corset is kinda crumby. 8 years later this dress is still in good shape. I still use it as a last minute costume!

The costume was very nice! It has a beautiful shimmer and fits well. I bought it for my daughter she's a size 10-12 and this fit her perfectly. It does have a bit of give to it so it could stretch even more. The corset/belt ties on so it isn't stiff like a traditional corset If you're looking for that cinched in look you might have to replace it with a real corset. The front panel that's white with the hearts is see-through so you would either need a slip or leggings. We got a petticoat here off Amazon and it looks beautiful underneath as it gives that skirt the extra poof. There is a knee-length piece of tool underneath the skirt that helps give it a bit of poof as well. So it's not like it just Falls flat .For those shorter ladies it might be a bit long. My daughter is 5 ft 4 and it does touch the ground a bit but I believe a pair of platform shoes will help that. Overall I think it's a great outfit for the price.

This dress is gorgeous. After reading the comments I was a little hesitant to purchase it, but I am so glad that I went ahead and did it. You just can't beat the price for the standard size. When opening it up I was super careful because I read that it was a "glitter factory", not the case for mine at all. None of the glitter came tumbling off. I examined the dress and everything was in place and as it should have been made. The quality is terrific. I placed a black cincher that I already had under the one that was provided, because it did fit a little loose on its own, and it worked wonderfully. After I had it all put together I did not want to take it off. I LOVE this costume and can not wait to wear it with my family's Alice in Wonderland themed costumes next year.

Small for size. I ordered an XL I’m 5”8 and 175lbs. I usually wear pants size 10 and the XL was VERY TIGHT around the rib/bust area. It was actually a little painful as the material in that area has no give. However, it’s made well and looks great! Wish I could’ve worn it for Halloween.

Fun Halloween costume and it was a hit! I didn’t like the belt it came with so I used a different very wide belt that gave me more of defined waist. I also purchased a petticoat to wear under dress. It was comfortable. Size it’s standard. I’m 5”8’, and at that time 135-140 pounds, 34E. In my opinion the costume is well made and I would purchase again. :)

This was one of the best costumes I've ever had. It was comfortable and long enough - I'm 5' 6" with long legs and a lot of times, clothes are too short. This was just the right length even with a pair of heels on. It was pretty well made for a Halloween costume. One thing which I was glad I noticed before I left the house, is the white panel in the front of the dress is kind of see-through. As long as you wear a slip or leggings, it's fine. The rest of the costume is nice quality fabric for a costume. But the corset around the waist didn't stay in the right place and I was afraid to pull the straps too tight because I didn't want to rip them - it ties like an apron.

First and foremost, let's remember that this is a one-size-fits-most Halloween costume. It will be flattering for some, but not so much for others. Now for my review: - Yes, this costume has glitter. As we all should know, glitter is the herpes of the arts and crafts world. Yes, the glitter is subject to falling off. Since I've tried mine on, there has been glitter in my house. I don't mind because I figured there would be glitter in my house. It's okay. The costume sparkles! - Yes, it's a bit itchy. But, again, it's a costume. This dress obviously isn't meant for everyday wear. Looking fabulous for a couple to a few nights in October is worth it. - No, the corset is not a real corset. Again, this is a costume. A good corset costs about as much as this costume does. The faux corset that comes with this costume is for looks. Do not expect an actual corset. - No, the fit isn't very flattering for me. Again (say it with me) this is a one-size-fits-most costume. I didn't expect a perfect fit. I can work my own magic to make it fit/look better, but the fact that it doesn't look on me like it does on the model (who had some magic worked on her to make it look that way, I'm sure) doesn't mean it's poorly made. - No, the white part on the front of the dress is not solid; it's tulle. You will need a slip. (This is really the only complaint that I have about the product and why it did not earn a full five stars.) - It's heavy. The dress is pretty perfect for chilly October nights. I would highly recommend a different costume if you live somewhere with warmer fall temperatures. Basically, I really do love this costume. I'm sure it'll be a huge hit with my co-workers (co-villains) this Halloween!

I loved this costume. I searched high and low for a tasteful Queen of Hearts costume and found it here. I was pleasantly surprised at the price for the quality. It doesn't have that "cheap it will fall apart any minute" feel to it at all. The first time I wore it to an amusement park, I had two little girls come up to me and ask if they could take a picture with me.Too cute. As far as the fit, its just to about a size 14, which I was at the time. Perhaps even a 16 if one has very small arms and midsection. The full length was just a little bit too long (I'm 5'6" and wore it with flats), but with a one inch heel shoe it should be perfect. I was afraid that the decolletage area would hang too low, but it doesn't. All the white portions on the costume are sheer, but I wore it with black tights so nothing peeked through.

This dress was actually pretty great quality! Much better than expected for the price and arrived the same day I ordered it! Fits size 14 perfectly and very flattering.

I wear a size 8 usually and it fit well (not sure if it would stretch to a 12+...). The skirt is a bit short but I'm 5'11 so that's to be expected. As other people say the "corset" is kind of useless. You tie the straps and they are super long so just kind of odd looking. I actually used a corset I already owned and liked that a lot more. You'll definitely want to iron the collar. I just wore it down because it creased in the package and I hadn't ironed it, and I thought it looked fine. Also, if you have a crinoline to wear under it I think that would be better. Because of the corset and needing a crinoline I'd just give four stars but overall I'm very happy.
