I got a small sample of this cleanser from a friend who swore by it. I used it once and loved it, but because I'm really picky about what I use on my face, I wasn't ready to fall in love until I had used it for a week. By day 3, I found myself excited to wake up and wash my face because of the fragrance and the feeling it gave my face. 3 re-orders later, I still am excited by it. So why is this different than all of the other exfoliating cleansers, or just facial cleansers in general (I used to use Origins Checks and Balances, for context)?. First, the fragrance is intoxicating. Not like in an old lady strong perfume way, and in fact it's not even that strong, but it delivers a refreshing experience from the second you screw off the cap to scoop some up some exfoliant. Note, the fragrance doesn't stay on your face after washing it off (which I like). Second, the exfoliant dissolves on your face as you massage it in and it's extremely gratifying. Third, many of the cleansers I've used in the past leave a residue that is hard to fully scrub off. That isn't the case here; this comes off easily when you splash water on your face, but doesn't compromise on getting any dirt/dead skin/oil off. Fourth, it also doesn't leave your skin dry. Many cleansers I've used leave my face shiny/uncomfortable to move because it's so dry. I don't even have to put on moisturizer after this (but I do). Fifth, good price and it takes me awhile to get through the small tub using it 2x/day (a little goes a long way). Sixth, I don't hate when it gets on my lips/in my mouth (don't eat it, but if it gets on your lips you'll understand and maybe kind of like it, too).

I feel like some people have been gatekeeping this product! I don't know why I haven't heard of it until now. It is the best facial wash I've ever used. I love the texture and the scent.

I've been using Suki since the company first came on the scene (it was created near my hometown!) and the Exfoliating Foaming Cleanser is hands-down one of my favorite face products in the world. When I was younger I would often get light breakouts across my forehead which resulted in uneven skin town and rough patchy areas. Using this once a week cleared it right up and I've continued to use it into my 30s as a wonderful skin refresher. Its amazing as part of a daily routine with other Suki products (the face oils are especially magical) but can certainly be used on its own along with any mild facial cleanser. The product can seem dry when you first receive it because the natural ingredients have settled/separated. Just grab a clean toothpick or snip the cotton end off a swab and stir it up! You can even add a bit of water to loosen it if necessary (I'd suggest bottled since its sterile). It last a long time as you only need about a dime sized amount each time. I suggest taking a bit in your palm, adding a few drops of tap water and letting it form a foam before applying to your face. This way it can emulsify and dissolve bit and you aren't slathering on any harsh sugar crystals. As with any exfoliating, stick to just once a week or you will be over stripping your delicate skin. Skin is an organ and it wants to and knows how to heal itself on its own! It just needs a little help to slough off the dead skin cells. The small 1 oz size is perfect to try the product and can certainly last for many months when only using once a week. Once you love it, buy the larger tub - you may even find you're using it on more areas of the body like the neck and decolletage while in the shower! Enjoy!

I really enjoyed using this product for several reasons: (1) it smells amazing, (2) ingredients are all natural, (3) feels awesome on skin, (4) and lasts a while. I think it's too expensive for me to buy again, and when I received the product the lid wasn't closed all the way so a bit of the contents spilled out before I even started using it. When I got to the bottom of the barrel I decided to try and make my own exfoliant. I just used lemon juice and sugar. It felt virtually the same as this product except the sugar crystals in mine didn't dissolve on my face as quickly as their's did. Interestingly, I found that because I added more lemon it ended up helping my skin more then most products I bought from the store. I use my mixture twice a day. The lemon has minimized my acne scars and the sugars pull out zits under the skin. Before you buy this or buy again try making your own exfoliant like I did. It's very comparable to this product and costs less than a dollar to make a full batch. I'll probably experiment with other natural ingredients around my kitchen at a later date. But if you insist on purchasing a product I really enjoyed using this one, and I recommend it :) good luck

This is the best face scrub I've ever used. It has such a pleasant clean fragrance without being strong. My skin is so soft and healthy after using this scrub. After using this for several years, I'm always getting compliments on my facial skin and people ask what I use. The first time I found this it was at Costco. I was delighted to find it on Amazon. I believe this can be used on all skin combinations. My skin tends to be dry and this makes it look a healthy moist appearance. I use it every day.

Love this product! It’s gentle enough to use multiple times a week, you don’t need to use a lot, and it smells lovely! There’s a reason it has a cult following!!!

This is a truly delightful product to use; it has a lovely fresh lemony scent,the exfoliant is sugar based so no damage to the environment and works really well at polishing away dead skin cells to reveal a youthful glowing complexion. The pot is not that big.....not an issue as you only need a small amount on damp skin for it to work. The smell also has an effect of lifting the senses making you feel cheerful . I highly recommend and will purchase again.

This leaves your face feeling cleaner and fresher than any other product I've tried. Does not dry out your skin and is a perfect product to use before applying a moisturizer.
