Sprayway SW841R Oil-based Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish, Protects and Preserves, Resists Streaks and Finger prints, 15 Oz.

I'm a big fan of Sprayway products, especially their glass cleaner. This stainless steel cleaner also ranks up there in terms of performance and value. As with most stainless steel polishes, it's not ideal for removing dirt and gunk from heavily soiled surfaces (you need to use a general purpose cleaner for that) but rather is designed to provide a great finish and shine that helps resist dirt accumulation. There are two versions of this from Sprayway: an oil-based version (this one) and a water-based version. I've used both, and strongly prefer the oil based version. It leaves a much nicer shine, is easier to use (less buffing to get the shine) and is more streak resistant. The downside is that there is more of an odor from the oil-based version (it's not bad but it is noticeable) and there is a slight oily residue left behind that can attract dust and pet hair. But for me, the pros far outweigh the cons in comparison to the water-based version. I alternate between using this and Hope's stainless steel cleaner since each has its advantages. But, in terms of cost per use, this is far more economical (about five bucks for a can, although the price can jump around a lot). 5 stars.

I absolutely love this product! It works better than anything else I’ve tried on my stainless steel appliances. It leaves a beautiful shine with no streaks, and it’s super easy to use. My fridge, microwave and sink look brand new after every use. Definitely worth the money — highly recommend.

This product seemed very very good. I cleaned my appliances and applied and it was so good that there were a couple of places, (almost dents), that I had never seen before and this stuff makes them look so shiny and new, any defects you have show up. I did have to wash my appliances down first, dry them and then apply. It lasts a long time as well. It’s only me and my husband so we don’t get a lot of fingerprints or anything. However, my big “but” to this product is, I’ve found that you can’t just reapply over prints. They don’t go away. The other day, it looked like my husband had gotten the fridge dirty on one side and he tried to wipe it off. It was glaring after he did it, so I got this out and went over that spot. It didn’t remove it or hide it. I found I had to scrub that whole side down with a towel and cleaner and THEN reapply. Afterwards it was fine. The SS polish I pick up at the big box store doesn’t make my appliances look as good as this product BUT I also don’t have to clean the whole thing first. So for me, there is a downside to it. This definitely makes it more shiny and rich looking but I really hate I can’t just wipe over any dirt or fingerprints to bring back the shine. I don’t like having to clean the whole door panel again. But the shine does last a long time and it repels a long time as well. So I guess it’s pick your poison. If you have kids and have to clean your appliances a lot anyway, then I think you’ll be very pleased.

I sprayed a few bursts on my fridge and dishwasher, wiped them down, and it felt like I gave them a spa day. It earned extra points for being odour-free and not gooey. Cleanup was quick and satisfying, which in my book = win. 😊 Final Verdict: If you want stainless appliances that actually look great without fuss or streaks — and don’t mind spending a little extra for that extra shine. You’ll feel like a pro every time you walk into your kitchen.

I had purchased another brand of stainless-steel cleaner, but the smell was so nauseating I could not use it. Since I have stainless-steel sinks, I needed something to clean them. I am very happy to report that this Sprayway cleaner does the trick with absolutely no obnoxious odors. It does a fabulous job of cleaning without leaving any streaks. It is very easy to use and non-greasy. Best of all, my sinks seem to stay cleaner longer after applying this cleaner. Very effective cleaner!

Works well. Appliances look new

If you have stainless steel appliances in your kitchen this is it!!! Throw away everything else. This stuff requires no elbow grease, makes the appliances look better than they looked when they were new and your mother-in-law, nosey neighbor or relative will wonder if you use anything in your kitchen anymore. This is the greatest stuff since sliced bread!! Better yet everyone will think you have a maid!!! I cleaned everything out from under my kitchen cabinet and have this and will be adding the class cleaner spray made by the same company to it. YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE!!! I don't work for the company, I'm lazy and I got the best looking kitchen on the block -don't believe me- try it!

I usually love Sprayway products, esp the glass cleaner. They are usually a cut above. This stainless cleaner sounded great & does the job for a few minutes. My experience is that is works, but only temporarily. It looks shiny clean at first, but didn’t last as other products in this line. It’s just okay & while I’ll use the rest of the can, I won’t reorder. It HAS to be something better & longer lasting. Also, it leaves a wet & oily finish, which isn’t conducive to most families. I wasnt impressed as I am with other products in this line.
