What is the grade of magnet?

I bought these to replace the pinch kind on my church name tag. After removing that piece, and cleaning well, I applied the new magnet. It has lasted for several years, and I've upgraded other family members' tags, as well as shared with friends. The magnet itself is very strong, and will hold perfectly through fairly heavy fabric.

Would these fit on the back of a 2 1/4 inch button with a broken pin?
