How long do they last before replacinf the battery?

Ours only lasted about an hour before slowly turning very dim. The specs from the manufacturer say it should last 2-3 hours as a very bright light

Can I use them in balloon insted paper lanterns??

The ones I got seemed too heavy for balloons and really sharp plastic/metal parts... And the bulbs get hot easily.

Will these lights illuminate orange paper lanterns, which will be used as decor for an outdoor evening wedding?

Depending on the color orange, it would give them a glow, but not be very bright.
