Can I use two these simultaneously on different cars?

Yes. I’ve even got two on my camper, one for the main battery and one on the leisure battery. You have to connect to each one separately via the connections setting within the app to get each reading

Does this work safely on modern bmws with the ibs on the battery?

Yes, the BMS will not register the monitor. It should be safe if connected correctly and secured properly. No responsibility is accepted.

Can you download data as csv from app? so i can select and re-display selected periods
