It’s not often I write a review for a product. But this time I’m willing to take the time to do so. This gun safe is an amazing product. I really like the options available to open it. It has small included keys. It has a biometric fingerprint scanner, or you can use a six digit programmable code. The code is easy to program. It took me less than two minutes to register several fingerprints and my own personal code. The installation is easy as well. There are multiple ways to mount it, or simply place it on the floor. The only gripe I have, which is a minor one, is the keyhole is underneath the safe itself. So depending on how you mount it, it may be difficult to reach. But it’s a well priced, strong safe for quick access to a firearm. No complaints at all!!!!!

Safe was well constructed, easy to install, and simple to set up. Biometrics works really well. Gun slides out nice and smotth. I definitly recommend this product.

Awesome sturdy construction and pretty solid finger print recognition. Mute mode makes it nice and discreet and it was pretty easy to mount.

Works as advertised and appears to be quality built with a nice hammered finish. Mounting was a breeze. The only issue I had was getting it to take my thumbprint but that was mostly user error. The unit is supposed to beep and turn green, according to the instructions, after reading your fingerprint. The unit did not beep but it did turn green. The problem I had was that it turned green so quickly, I was not removing my thumb fast enough and relocating it for a second or third scan. Once that was figured out, it worked perfectly. It opens effortlessly with my thumbprint or with my four-digit code. I think that the instructions could use some refinement which might make the process easier. Even so, I still give it five stars and would would definitely recommend this safe.

The Langger biometric/slider handgun safe is nicely constructed and is a good value compared to other competitors . It holds my 1911 plus two extra magazines with ease. The biometric sensor was easy to program and recognizes my fingerprint every time. Regular keypad entry works just fine too. The slider opens almost instantaneously when the sensor reads your fingerprint or accepts the combination code. The slider drawer opens with plenty of force even with the weight of my pistol and the 2 extra magazines. Mounting the safe is easy with the provided bracket. So far, I am impressed for the price. The thing I think could be improved upon is the thickness of the steel case. I believe it should be thicker. I worry that it might be too easy to force open with a screwdriver or similar tool. Hopefully the electronics on this safe continue to be reliable. Many of the entry level biometric sensors work great at first and then stop working after the first year or so. Hopefully I will get many years of use out of my Langger slider safe.

I am a woman that purchased my first item to put into this safe, but needed somewhere to store it other than lying loaded on my nightstand as I was a bit nervous about it all. I purchased this gun safe and was happy with the sturdiness and ease of installing it onto my nightstand. After installation, I had trouble programming it with a new code and the fingerprint. Tried many times, reading and rereading the instructions, but I couldn’t get it to work. Within the packaging, it had a card with registration info. I did and received an immediate email back welcoming me and a contact address if I had any problems. I replied on late Saturday evening about the programming problem and, much to my shock, they immediately replied and helped me get it programmed. Instead of holding the program button for “5” seconds, they told me to hold it for “3” and that was all there was to it. I was holding the button too long. Duh! I absolutely LOVE my safe. It holds my item beautifully, securely, safely, and now opens with a touch of any of my fingers at different angles. I now feel safe with my new item contained in my safe by my bedside. I am so glad I chose this safe with this particular company as their customer service and patience with my lack of skills was superb! I have never received such great customer service from a company as I did with this one. They are astoundingly good! Ladies, this is the safe to get. ;)

NOT CANADIAN STORAGE COMPLIANT Seems like a good safe. But it doesn't allow the space for a trigger lock which is required for Canadian storage. Probably great if you are American or other but in Canada this is 4 years in jail.

Solid! Comes with a three-way access: key, code, fingerprint. Box is heavy and thick. Full size gun fits comfortably. The metal has a pleasant, probably scratch-resistant texture. No complaints whatsoever. My worry on Amazon usually is: does the description / photo match the product? In this case, it does. I would recommend it to my friends, it's a good buy, and at a very good price. Fingerprint could be somewhat tricky (you have to place the finger exactly how you registered it), but you have the option to scan multiple sides of the finger, making sure it's quick and easy for every angle.
