I have straight fine asian hair, shoulder length, and median volume. These rollers work well. They are my first rollers so I watched tons of youtube tutorial videos before buying. I used them right after received the package this afternoon. My hair was dry, I used Folicure thickening mousse before put on the rollers, and took them off after only 5 mins. I could already see some soft curls. Now it's the night, and I just took a shower. I put them on again to see how they would work on my damped hair. They worked well too. There are 5 sizes. If the largest is size 1 and smallest is size 5, I used three size 1, five size 2, and two size 3. I just air dried my hair and took them off after 1.5 hours (my hair is now 98% dry). And I was amazed by the result!! I got glamorous soft curls like those of Victoria's Secret runaway models! I love it! I used hair mask in the shower to protect my hair from being damaged by the rollers. The curls look shiny and smooth, and feel soft. I think the key to put the rollers on properly is to make sure your hair is straight when you put them on and make sure to wrap the hair around the roller tightly. I combed each section first, then placed the roller near the hair root, then slowly pulled it toward the end of the hair as if I was combing my hair with the roller, and then kept gently pulling my hair to make sure it stayed straight while I wrapped it tightly round the roller. I think the combing (with roller; it helps re-straighten the hair) and the pulling (keeps the hair stay straight) are very important. My hair is naturally straight so it's easier for me. If you have curly or frizzy hair, it's better to straighten the hair first. Otherwise, your hair is probably going to get tangled and stuck on the roller, and it will be very painful when take it off. I used one hand to unroll the roller off the hair gently while used the other to secure the root of the hair. It worked well. It wasn't a painful, and my hair didn't fall. Maybe I pulled out two single strands of hair during the process, but I think that's pretty normal. I saw they used velcro rollers on Victoria's Secret fashion show models all the time. That's why I bought them. Although I don't know how much damage these rollers will do to my hair cuticles if I use them everyday, I'm not too worried since I will only use them occasionally. Using hair mask before and after using the rollers can also protect the hair from harsh styling material and reduce the damage. Over all I'm pleased with this product. It does what it's supposed to do, and the price is reasonable. It definitely requires some delicate techniques and patience to use them properly (watching youtube tutorial helps a lot). So don't be frustrated if you mess up the first a couple of times. You'll get there with some practices. BTW, it'll be very difficult to sleep at night with these rollers on your head, as they are pretty hard and the velcro will poke your scalp when you lie down.

These Velcro curlers gave me the volume I wanted as I have thinner hair. I started off liking them a lot. They were easy to put in, it was easy to roll the hair after separating into small sections. I opted to use clips I had to make sure the rollers stayed put, but it seemed that they were staying put quite well on their own before I used the clips. The negative feedback I have is that when I went to take the curlers out, my hair was stuck on quite a few of them. When I carefully tried to unroll it, some of the curlers had my hair so tight that it caused some issues getting the hair off and ended up ripping out some of my hair. Since I already have thin hair, as mentioned, these will not suit my needs. I can’t chance having my hair ripped out each time I use them. So I will be returning due to that problem. I tried not to wrap the hair super tight but tight enough, but it just didn’t work out for me. I will have to use a different heatless curler. This may be a personal issue, but I knocked off one star due to the damage these curlers caused when taking them out.

I am new to using rollers so I am having trouble getting my hair rolled evenly, but this is user ewrror. The rollers themselves are just like my hair dresser showed me. This was a good value. I firat bought them at Walgreens for double this price so I returned then and bout these. Same exact thing.

Rollers are great, but packaging is horrible. They are placed inside each other and very hard to remove the smaller ones from the larger ones. Very frustrating!!

I had a small set of Velcro rollers and just found that it wasn't quite enough for my hair so I purchased these. These are great no matter what your hair length is it covers all sizes whether you have a super short hair or medium to long hair. You need hair clips of some sort. So firstly I highly recommend watching YouTube videos specifically on setting your curls with heat before putting them in rollers. The directions on my initial set of Velcro rollers says something about heating up the roller itself with a hairdryer when I initially tried that it really did not work for me however setting my curls with a curling iron works much better. I saw some reviews where people got their hair wet and that is totally not the way to go! Sectioning off hair, using a curling iron, setting my hair with heat after of course using heat protective products. Put each section in a roller, securing it with a clip leaving ALL the rollers in for 15 to 20 minutes. I was initially just leaving them in for about five minutes but I saw something that said 15 to 20 works a lot better and I would definitely agree with that after trying that today. Also I try to have my curling iron set for below 300 degrees. After that I take them out and I just let my hair sit for a good five minutes I don't brush it out try not to touch it. Just to let the style really set in place and then I style as normal but the picture that I took was after I did my hair and hung around the house all day no styling products after two hold this style in place. I could use hot rollers I could use a curling iron I could use so many different types of curling products and not achieve these types of curls for this length of time. Highly recommend these it's all about application!!

I would give a 0 if possible. Alexa indicated that these were good for all hair types... Textures perhaps, but not types! DO NOT USE THESE ON LONG HAIR!!! DO NOT!!! I wish I had taken a photo of the damage these caused my waist-length hair - even using thin sections. I have a trash can with a mound of hair in it that was pulled out as I was trying to "gently" remove these. One was tangles so badly that I thought I would have to cut a section of hair just to get it off. I had never tried these rollers before, but they will knot your hair up!!! GOD FORBID using them on a child with hair any longer than chin-length! You will have a nightmare on your hands getting them out. Just don't!! They are not worth the aggravation, pain and suffering!

These heatless curlers are good and work well for what I need them for. I have no complaints so far and am happy with the purchase!

These are fabulous! I love that they need no clips. My hair is very wavy and fine. I put the largest rollers in when my hair is partially dry after shampooing and let it dry naturally for about 45 minutes, or with a hair dryer if I'm in a hurry. They leave my hair straight, the way I prefer it, and are just so easy to use. I would definitely recommend these rollers.
