Fits in my pocket, good quality, & beautiful. I like the blank pages, but prefer a light, 5mm graph ruling. The paper texture feels good and crisp. It handles inky pens enough for a daily sidekick & “dump” journal. Excellent traveler’s journal. The refills also fit in a checkbook …perfect size to fit in a picket and have max writing space. It opens flat under a hand while writing. I bought another one for my husband.

I started carrying around a small, paper journal with me wherever I go some time over twenty years ago, and after all these years, I finally found my ideal journal! The cover really is leather, and considering the lack of care I’ve shown it, it likes great. The box it comes in makes it feel like you’ve spent money. The quality of the paper is high enough that gel pens don’t leak through to the other side. You can barely even see that the other side of the page has been written on without holding it up to the light!! I love that it’s refillable—as much as I enjoy my collection of retired journals, I look forward to not having to buy a brand new one that’s slightly different and slightly less good in some way. I love the clear zipper pocket where I can not only put a piece of paper but can also see it so I remember it’s there! I love the size, the elastic closure, the three different types of paper (lined, blank, and craft), the heft and feel of it. I love that it really looks quite good for having been kicking it around in my bottomless pocketbook for a couple months, where it’s done battle with pens, bottles, knitting, and all manner of electronics. The only cons: 1. Pen Slot: I have not yet figured out ideal pen placement (to ensure that my pen is always with my journal), but I probably need to break out a mini-pen that I bought for previous journals. 2. Place-mark: there’s no attached ribbon allowing you to easily find your place, but it will probably be easy to attach a bit of ribbon to the elastic closures that keep the notebooks in place. 3. The Brass Plaque: I don’t like the “where there’s a will there’s a way” saying on it, you can’t pick other sayings, and I don’t have the means to clip the metal at the holes to remove it. So I keep it on the back of the journal. In the scheme of things, this is beyond not a big deal, but this journal is so awesome that it’s my biggest complaint.

Love this thing! Well made has room for three notebooks but I don’t care if the notebook comes out so i managed to shove a fourth one in there. One less star because the cover does get scratched very very easily (you could scratch it with your nail) because of the material but I don’t really care gives it character but beware of that if you’re expecting sleek leather. Overall love it I don’t think you’ll regret this purchase. Love the dark maroon color scratches to a lighter red. The 8 x 4 is the perfect size

This is the perfect travelers notebook! It's real leather that is the perfect thickness. The notebooks inside are great I can't wait to decorate them. It came packaged in a nice box and inside a dust bag that is really nice! Also can with a few pieces of the ephemera to use in the journal! I highly recommend getting it!

I was impressed with this traveler’s journal. Was exactly what I was looking for. It came packaged well in a box and dust bag. I gave this as a Christmas gift. The quality was great. The color of the leather was as described. I added some charms and it came out perfect. I will most likely purchase one for myself at some point.

absolutely love this. this was way more affordable than other passport sized travelers notebooks i have seen and it comes with about everything you need. 3 books and one clear file for ephemera and cards. i cannot wait to see how this ages as i use it more.

Mi journal esta precioso y de muy buena calidad.

I should have paid a bit more attention to the dimensions for this journal, but that was my own fault. It really is quite small, but very well made, nice stitching comes well packaged and the leather has a nice soft feel to it. Elastics are great and the booklets inside have 2 different kinds of paper along with a plastic insert for storage. I did purchase on cloth zippered insert as well to hold a few extra things and it fit without having to take anything out of the journal. For the price this was at the time I purchased it ($18.99 CAD). It was a great buy and will be nice to throw in my purse or work bag to have with me at all times if I want!

Es hermoso! Es pequeño, como de 13 x 9 cm aprox. De cuero. El color me gustó mucho. Tiene tres cuadernos o inserts; uno de raya, uno blanco y otro de papel Kraft. Aparte unos bolsillos o carpeta de plástico para guardar notas, stickers o lo que necesites. muy recomendable!
