Pawstruck Natural 5-7" Beef Collagen Sticks for Dogs – Long-Lasting Rawhide Alternative, High Protein & Low Fat with Chondroitin & Glucosamine – 5 Pack

After reading many 5 star reviews on this product, we decided to give these a try for our Nya. She is a 60 lb, white German Shepherd and we find that she has higher anxiety and restlessness. We have tried different varieties of chew toys - rubber ones do not keep her interested and the nylon bones do not agree with her sensitive stomach resulting in her throwing up after consuming. As with every toy, we keep a close eye on how much time she is allowed to partake. She loves this so much that she gets annoyed when we take it away. They last longer which is cost effective and obviously, she enjoys the taste! Looking forward to trying the other braided option and I also want to search for options for our 10 lb Chihuahua, Khloe who would like to jump on board.

Dogs love um, no mess, and they don't choke on the last tiny pieces. I will never buy rawhide again. These are my go to, especially because I have a dog prone to pancreatitus and just about everything makes her sick. Not these! Great busy long lasting treat for my Jack Russell's.

Distracted my dog while I did things around the house. She Did not stop chewing until it was completely gone, so that’s a good sign she loved taste of the beef. Perfect size for my pitbull.

My dog loves these collagen sticks. These collagen sticks will keep her occupied for a long time as well as distracted when she would otherwise reactively bark. These collagen chews last way longer than tendons. My dog is able to chew them safely without them breaking into pieces or causing teeth/gum injury. The part that she chews overtime, turns soft and mushy I ordered a bag of five and did not initially inspect all of them until I got down to the last three. As you can see in the picture, number 4 and 5 look different from number 3. The first two that I gave to my dog looked like stick number 3. The color variation wasn’t concerning as the listing description states that color variations are normal. What was concerning was that I noticed black spots on stick number 4 and 5. It’s really evident on number 4 as seen in the picture. Number 5 had tiny black spots speckled throughout. I’m not sure if it was mold, but my gut told me not to take a chance so I threw number four and five away. I read other reviews where people have come across the same issue. I am hesitant to order another bag as these are a little bit pricey and I don’t want to come across the same issue again. Other than the quality control issue these are an excellent product.

This is the third version of collagen chews I've bought from Pawstruck. When we first brought our Aussiedor home, I bought the small collagen knots (but didn't give her any until after 3 months). I also picked up the collagen springs (for when she's a bit bigger). I recently purchased these. They are even longer than I expected. She's right around 25 pounds currently, and can spend an hour chewing on one of these and not even get close to halfway through. One stick lasts her about 3-4 days. I love that they are good for her joints and that they don't smell! She likes the bully sticks as well, but those are very strong smelling for me and a bit more messy.

I am so disappointed in the quality of these chews. I was a loyal customer for years. I started with the Bully Sticks, but when the cost became too much for me, I switched to the collagen chews. My dog loves them and I was a consistent buyer. I was even a subscriber to the product. These used to be a good value, long lasting and safe for him to chew on (with a stick holder). He would chew on them until they became soft, it took about three days of one-hour chew sessions to get to the end. However, over the past year the chews have become too dangerous for me to give to my dog. Previously the chews were tightly wound and would soften up making it a great way to massage the teeth and gums. The past three packages I bought were loosely wound and were so brittle that they would shatter into shards, big and small to break off, causing choking and bleeding. At first, I thought I got a bad batch but after several more attempts with the same awful results and needing to throw it all out, I canceled all subscribe and save subscriptions. I have not been able to find a good alternative that my dog will chew on. So very disappointed.

These seem to be of good quality, but my dog is not terribly eager to chew on them. He will take them--begrudgingly-- and chew on them just a little bit over several days. Maybe that's a good thing to make the chew last longer. I don't give him this type of chew often. He prefers bully sticks.

My dog gets quite the workout chewing one of those sticks. Wears my Corgi out. It lasts around couple of hours unlike other ones that he has done in 15 minutes.

My Daschund goes through the large sticks in 40mins as she is an aggressive chewer but my mutt goes through the large one for an hour. They clearly love it and keeps them busy. And for once I didn’t have any major reactions when introducing a new treat… I wish there was some kinda bull subscription rates as the per packet pricing is very high so not sustainable…but love the product!
