Wide Mouth Canning Lids and Rings for Ball or Kerr,Mason Jar Large Lids and Bands Set of 12

I got these for some wide mouthed jars I had which had no lids at all . Wasnt 100% sure they would fit but they are perfect. My jars are various makes 16oz and 24 oz The price was £6.90 for the 12 rings and discs which is 58p each lid set which will eventually pay for themselves over their lifetimes. Going forward, I wont need to buy the rings every time as it is the discs that go mostly . They all look clean and sound. Size is perfect for the jars I have which are all wide mouthed mason jars. Leakproofness will depend on your sealing method and following sealing guidelines so it doesnt seem fair to evaluate that aspect.

These certainly do NOT fit my Ball jars. The bands are slightly too small to fit the opening and most definitely cannot be fitted to follow the thread of the jar top. I eventually got a refund after sending photos and going through Amazon Support. Following this, Seller communication was very confusing ie asking me to return the items in the message heading. But the message itself, telling me to keep and dispose of items myself. I ended up returning them paying for postage myself. Most unsatisfactory and time-wasting.

Bought these as replacements for the brass lids that came with my kilner jars which had rusted after going in the dishwasher. Really pleased with these new lids as they’ve been dishwashed multiple times and no sign of rust.

These are perfect for replacing the lids on mason jars. Especially for vacuuming or canning.

Exactly what i needed amazing value

The regular mouth lids were excellent and fit perfectly BUT the wide mouth lids did not quite fit. Very disappointed, as I had already made the apple pie filling when I discovered this. I guess I’ve learned the lesson to check fit before any cooking. My jars are standard wide mouthed Kilner jars, and all other lids I’ve ever bought for them fit fine, so it’s definitely an issue with the lids rather than the type of jar. 5 stars for the regular mouth size, 0 stars for the wide mouthed lids, so I’ve evened that out to 3 stars.

La rosca de la tapa no es del tamaño adecuado, al parecer le falta 1 o 2 milimetros de la rosca interior, ya que no hay forma de cerrar la tapa sobre el recipiente de vidrio, desfaortunadamente no lei la politica de devolucion y la DEVOLUCION ES CON COSTO y pagada por el comprador, lo cual es una verdadera estafa, ya que me sale lo mismo que el envio de la devolucion que el producto

The wide mouth was not fit to ball jars, but the standard model did.

I live near the ocean, so regular rings rust extra quickly. These stainless steel rings are essential.
