VAUGHAN SuperBar, 15 Inch Flat Pry Bar, Nail Puller, Assembled in the USA

I’ve been using this VAUGHAN Superbar for years, and it’s still as solid and reliable as day one. The 15-inch length gives plenty of leverage, and the nail-pulling end works smoothly every time. Made in the USA, it feels built to last, and it’s my go-to for demolition and home projects. A simple, no-nonsense tool that just gets the job done—year after year.

I recently had some friends and family show up to help with a project. Things went well and I'm greatful for the help received, however somebody accidentally left with my WonderBar! It's something I missed in a very short amount of time. I've dug through everyplace I can imagine it having been used, and it simply isn't here. I immediately ordered another as a replacement. When this Super Bar, by Vaughn, arrived, I suddenly was thankful that my old one had disappeared. This one by Vaughn is superior in every way. I hopw qhwewcwe rhw ols bar wound up, they enjoy it. I got the best part of the deal. This is one tool I won't have to worry about wrecking. It is going to hold up to whatever task I use it for. Of course I'm going to have to etch the beautiful coating on it when I engrave my name into it. I don't want anyone mistaking this one as being theirs!

I have a variety of prise bars, All my others are of the solid steel type. This is a useful addition, but not a universal substitute for any of my other prise bars. This bar is made of spring steel. is light in weight (good) but cannot substitute for a solid steel bar. The spring steel is of very good quality and I have applied very serious amounts of pressure but have been unable to deform the bar. At this point I usually have to go back to a longer solid steel bar. However nothing is universal, and this bar I have found very useful. Because it is relatively thin it it great for getting between tight fitting objects. Also the large curved bend gives a good point to "bash" with a heavy hammer, should you need to. It takes this "abuse" very well. It also has a "vee" cutout in the bar which locks in the head of a nail and you can prise their removal. I liked this feature. The "vee" slit for removing nails on the less curved end has been of less use to me as it seems too wide. The designers of this bar obviously have a purpose for it but I have only found it useful for locating a nail and then shearing it off at its shank by belting the other round end with a heavy hammer. I would miss this bar if I no longer had it for some reason and would replace it if it should get lost.

Perfect for jobs where you may want to put the board back, rather than just remove the board and nails for destruction. A lot thinner and smaller than a standard crowbar. Easy to bring along.
