Finally
Shipping was fast, product was exactly as listed, fits perfectly, quality made. it was one the pricy side but well worth it. Finally I am able to get the correct wire wheel for my bench grinder. I have what is a rare bench grinder, for whatever reason they only made them for a few years. I was lucky enough (LOL) to get one while they were made. Seems that they all decided to make only 6" with 1/2" shafts and 8" with 5/8" shafts and did away with the 7" all together in either 1/2" or 5/8". It has always been a hassle to get wire wheels for it and usually I have had to settle for just the 1/2" wide ones. This one is a full 3/4" like what came on the bench grinder back when I bought it. It does have a 5/8" arbor size but I was able to make one from some 5/8" 16ga tubing to fit my 1/2" shaft so all is well.

Made in the USA 🇺🇸
This product is made in the USA. I previously purchased a vary popular brand that has been a well known co in the manufacturing industry and they stated that it was made in the USA, upon opening the delivery box it is made in China. Weiler is USA made, the quality is much better than other brands I have purchased. I have been using this daily for months now and is holding up great. Has a much tighter weave on the wires and doesn’t spit wires out constantly. Vary happy with this weiler brand and will buy more in the future.

Great quality
I spent a lot of time trying to find the best quality 7” wire wheel. I was sold on the ADT brand, but I just wasn’t going to pay over $14.00 shipping when I have Prime. After comparing this wheel with the ADT, I found no quality difference. So I purchased this Weller, and I glad I did. It is very well made and runs very smooth with no vibration on my grinder. Very happy customer.

Wobble and out of balance
Vibrates badly, maybe due to being out of balance and uneven density of wires, which spread out much wider than the stated 3.4" face width (1 to 1.5" wide). Also, the wheel hub and plastic bushing is only about 1/8" wide, so not much surface touches the shaft, which facilitates a lot of wobble, but I thought this should be solved by squeezing it between some washers. I tried this, but still a lot of vibration and wobble. The pressure plate disks that come with my Black & decker 6" grinder don't fit well on the sides of the wheel hub either--They don't quite fit on the inner part or the outer flat part, but right in/on the edge where iit bevels in, so there's no precise place for it. I don't see how anyone gets these wire wheels to work right. Any advice besides sending it back?
