Why is it listed as solid gold?

There are different processes for protecting and showcasing the gold that is in jewelry. Plating wears off, so does bonding. Gold filled lasts awhile longer, especially for jewelry you seldom wear. 10, 14,18 and even 22 karat are measurements of purity. This means it made only of one solid mixture of pure gold and other metals that keep the jewelry from bending and breaking. It may have a rhodium plating, but underneath is one solid material that will never flake off in layers and look like crap. It is considered pure gold. In my opinion, 14kt is the perfect combination of gold and other metals for strength, shine, color, and sustainable value. I would not buy anything, especially online, that was plated, flashed, filled, or "dipped" as there is no such process for coating jewelry with gold. Please don't imagine a company sitting around vats of liquid gold, dipping their garbage jewelry in it, like nacho cheese in a crockpot. It's a big, fat lie.

10k gold is real gold, anything stamped 10k gold has additives but is considered real gold.

Need to return for 20 inch

I have so far have gotten a lot and if it says 20 inches and it is 20 inches if you’re looking for something lower than your collarbone more towards the breast plate that’s 24 inches

Extremely weak

I have purchased two of these necklaces for my wife, they have both broken on the first day of wearing! Extremely weak necklaces. The first one got snagged on shirt and broke, the second we are unsure, it was on her neck and next down her shirt! She didn’t feel any pulling on it so not sure what happened.
