I purchased this grip tape for three main reasons: 1) I wanted better grip on my bars - this tape provides that, especially when hands get a little sweaty. 2) I wanted a more comfortable grip - the knurling on my dumbbell handles are quite aggressive and when I have 50 or so pounds on them the knurling makes my delicate hands hurt. Sadly, I'm not even exaggerating. This grip tape did the trick. 3) My eyesight is old, just like I am and putting it on my bench-press barbell made it easier to know if my hand were correctly placed. This tape contrasts nicely on the chrome barbell. It also provided a grip that feels more secure and less likely to slip. Imagine that, grip tape that makes things more grippy... I am unsure about the longevity of this tape. It seems like it will last 2-3 months per application. The kit comes with two rolls and each roll looks like enough for three applications. Essentially the tape on the barbell and two dumbbells, represent about 1/3rd of a roll. So based on that, this two roll kit should last me 18 months. What a wonderful addition to my sons bat! Its a little tacky but the hands can hold the bat better and it is very well made because the material is knitted so closely together. Ill be using this exact tape forever now! And its worth the money!

This stuff is amazing. Used it for my preacher curl handles. Worked perfectly. Made the handles none slip and added some padding.

Bought this to tape up tool handles and avoid splinters, and I have found so many more uses for it too. Works great for wooden handles, metal handles, fiberglass handles, taping pool noodles to swing set uprights for clumsy kids, adding grip to a lawnmower handle, Taping up an ancient farm truck steering wheel, a wheelbarrow handle, taping up bicycle handle bars, a bike seat. you name it, this tape works great. Heck it's also good for taping stuff to the underside of a car rooftop box so it won't slide around. I seriously considered setting up subscribe and save because I use this almost as much a duct tape now.
