Quality is good for the price paid.. but surprisingly, 1 white piece Checkers was missing!

Instead of black King there were three black queens, king was missing. I launched a return request. Not satisfied with seller.

This is a great chess set. I'm new to chessboards, so I've read the reviews, and this is my personal judgment. My board came without damage. All pieces are good. The inlay that the pieces sit in was not glued down the best, but it still fit snugly (by my own choice, a smidge of double-sided tape now keeps it in place). I've bought the chess and checkers set. They are all magnetized to a good standard, making it travel-friendly despite being a big board. Overall, you are getting a good deal with this set for its quality. Definitely worth the money.

Thus chess set is beautiful and absolutely a wonderful way to play the game. The magnets are strong and the pieces are great.

Excelente juego de ajedrez, bien acabado, pulido y agradable al tacto y con detalles que intentan deleitar al jugador - comprador - cliente, incluso madres y padres para introducir al precioso juego del ajedrez a sus hijos. Más que correcto en suma, recomendable para su compra si buscas un tablero para casa y para transportar por encima de los "minis". Esto sí y como crítica constructiva: verán un álfil blanco con una mancha negra inferior que no he conseguido limpiar. Detalle muy importante que no les puede ocurrir para unas piezas de ajedrez... blancas !! Y la "prueba del algodón" para un ajedrez imantado / magnético: no superada. Si colocan las piezas y le dan un giro de 180° al tablero... son varias las piezas que caen, en este caso y comprobado dos veces, cuatro. Solución: imán, más potente, claro. Les añadiría que también para el mismo soporte de las piezas al guardarlas. Con todo, lo mantengo, buen tablero y piezas.
