Very good for getting hot pan from oven without getting burnt

These gloves arrived on time, and I must say I’m impressed with them. Means I can take hot food from my air fryer without getting burnt. Never had a pair of gloves like it. Not even remotely warm/hot gloves before, but makes life easier.

I always used to use the kitchen-style double oven gloves or a mitt for moving stuff around on the BBQ, but you lose flexibility with no fingers. These are great as you get your fingers back again! The only downside is that that you can't hold hot things for too long as after about 10 seconds you feel heat coming through - you just need to be quick! Overall they perform well and are now my go-to BBQ gloves.

What I like is the freedom you have to handle things without the difficulty of a mitten design. The heat protection parts are as promised. It takes some getting used to as there is no 'left' or 'right' glove, they are identical, and the thumb is in line with all the fingers. However, I have found a flaw. The heat protection does not go all the way around, and this is an issue with the thumb. When you hold a tray, especially with high sides, it is easy for the side of your thumb to touch the tray as you hold it- that's natural. As the heat protection is only front and back, the sides are cloth. I badly burnt my thumb. Whilst they are usable and I am now forewarned, I am not sure they are of suitable quality for more than a '3'.

Llegó el día que correspondía. Es bastante gordo con lo cual con total seguridad no te vas a quemar, tiene como unas líneas de silicona que son muy útiles para meter y sacar cosas del horno. Protegen muy bien del calor y yo estoy super contenta con el.

WHAT I LIKE: ➠ Good grips - Each glove has a series of blue rubber (maybe silicone?) pieces on them that provide a very solid grip of whatever you’re holding. This is particularly useful for things like cleaning the grill with a brush, where you need to apply strong pressure. ➠ Good quality - The material itself feels good quality and durable. The workmanship that went into the gloves also seems very good. ➠ Comfortable - I’m an adult male, and have a bit larger than average hands (I usually wear L or XL size gloves). These gloves fit me well. They’re perhaps slightly tighter than I’d like, but not uncomfortably so, and not to the point where it significantly restricts movement of my hand. But if you have very large hands, they be a bit of a tight fit. Conversely, if you have particularly small hands, they may be a bit loose. ➠ Great dexterity ➠ Relatively good breathability ➠ Effectively protects your hands from heat - I use these mainly for the BBQ, both while handling food on the grill and while cleaning it after (on high heat). They do a great job keeping my hands from burning while doing this. I also like the fact that they extend quite far down my arm, giving me more protection than a typical oven mitt would. ➠ The material used (Kevlar) supposedly also protects from cuts, which is nice to have when using them to work in the kitchen or when preparing things for the BBQ WHAT I DON’T LIKE: ➠ Some oven mitts I’ve used are made out of a silicone-like material that makes them waterproof and super easy to clean. These grill gloves are not made out of such a material, so if they get wet the water will get soaked up, and if they get dirty (from touching food, for example), it won’t be just a question of quickly wiping them clean (although they are supposedly machine-washable). But I suppose the advantage of this material is that it’s more flexible and affords you more dexterity, and also breathes better.

Ho usato i guanti per il forno, teglie di arrosti e rigirare costate alla piastra e il comportamento è efficiente. Di negativo il fatto che siano di misura unica e non mi si adattano molto alle mani lasciando scoperti molti lavori da effettuare in cucina.-

Rätt tajta men långa (jag har stl 8-9) och skyddar lika mycket/lite som andra varianter jag haft i ~10 år. Cirka 8-10s kan du hålla gjutjärn eller hetare (250°C+) prylar runt grillen, 12-15s tunnare gods som plåtar. Ambidextra så passformen är inte helt 100 men tillräckligt för att jobba utan större besvär. Hållbarhet efter några tvättar får avgöra om det blir högre betyg
