PROMIXX Pursuit Shaker Bottle Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle and Blender Cup, 550ml, Seagrass Green

Not used a Protein shaker for years. Last one I had used a mesh ball to do the mixing. This has the same thing but integrated into the lid. Most people have a host of drinks bottles these days. Some good, some not so good. This one is great. It doesn’t look like a protein shake bottle so it can be used for everyday drinks or for your pre/post workout shakes. The mixer in the lid easily detaches so it’s very easy to clean. No chance of the inevitable Protein Shake stench coming from this. Also as it’s Stainless it won’t hold onto smells like the plastic shake bottles. The lid has a closer and a carry handle. The closer for the mouth piece fits well and seems like it will last. Obviously need to keep your finger over it whilst shaking. The carry handle is good too. Easy to grab it with one finger whilst o your way out. The shaker comes in various colours, I went for the generic Grey colour which is cool. This is expensive at £20 but you pay your money and you get your goods. This will last a lifetime as long as you don’t drop It! All in all this is a great Protein shake bottle. Doubt I’ll ever need another!

I have used and abused this daily for a couple of months. It has stood up really well. I dropped a 20kg plate on it and it’s often in the footwell of my truck, besides a couple of scratches it has not taken any damage and it hasn’t leaked once. It’s pretty good at keeping drinks cold, not like a thermos would but good enough for a couple of hours. The blender grate is a really simple and effective design and doesn’t rattle around like a shaker ball does. The stainless cup cleans really well and the lid / grate can be separated for a good scrubbing. A couple of times I have found that it has begun to develop that horrible shaker smell so I sanitise it with Milton tablets twice a week now. My only complaints would be that it is relatively small, maybe another hundred ml or so would be nice but not a big deal. I would also like a slightly more ergonomic carry loop as the rectangular section digs in a little if you swing it from just one finger (as you would it your hands were full).

These are very well made, they look good, they're solid. No complaints there. I have two comments to make, however. First, really check the size. I hadn't appreciated how small these are compared with the other shakers I'd been using. They're really quite small. Of course, I should have paid more attention to this. Second, the mixing thing at the top is fiddly to get in/out and does not do a great job of mixing things. In particular, my clear whey gets stuck in little balls in the mixer, no matter how hard I shake it or how much room I try to leave for mixing. I'm going to keep them as I think it's manageable, but I wouldn't order them again if I knew then what I know now. Another lesson in really thinking about the product before pressing "buy now"...

Don’t normally write reviews but I am so impressed with the quality of this drinks shaker. I have issues with my hands and find the plastic shakers difficult to pop the drinks cap off. This product feels great, mixes my meal replacement well, cap is easy to push off and close, as well as no leakage. My shakes are quite strong smelling and is not leaving any smell. Easy to clean. Well deserved 5star. More expensive than some, but you get what you pay for. And will buy a second one.

I've tried out a lot of different shakers in various styles and materials, I'm really quite picky with them. This is by far my favourite, so much so that it's become my daily water bottle as well. It's nice to hold, easy to carry around, keeps drinks cold for a long time, and seals perfectly. It mixes shakes really well, quickly too. I've seen some reviews mentioning that the plastic parts hold the smell of the products you use in it, but I've found that if you thoroughly rinse it *immediately* after using it, and wash it with hot soapy water asap, this isn't an issue. Using denture/baby bottle steriliser tabs can also solve this problem if you've been unable to prevent it. I was a bit reluctant to spend so much on a shaker bottle, but am very glad I did and highly recommend it.

In theory this shaker should be great to keep clean and free from smells and leakage. But in reality it doesn’t happens. Despite the fact I clean straight after I use it the plastic bits will always retain the smell. Specially creatine! 🤢 and gets worse with time. But for me the leakage is the big issue. Noticed the first days I used but I though, maybe I should just screw the lid a bit tighter. Not much changes. As you can see in the pic just prepared another protein shake (and no, it’s not full, I’ll say 2/3), just left it on the counter and as I got back all the liquid started to leak. Far from ideal. Didn’t get that with my previous one that was a cheap plastic thing. Got persuaded by the good reviews on here. But cannot recommend this to anyone. It’s a shame because it looks and feels of quality. Update: Complete waste of money. It just leak every time now. Pretty annoying. Went to a sport shop and bought a cheap one and guess what, mixes better and no leaks. So, just don’t buy it.

This is an excellent flask for anything liquid. It keeps cool or warm and is very nice to use. It is so nice that one I previously bought was stolen at work so I had to buy another one as a replacement as I found it so useful. I made smoothies to take to work but it also kept a hot drink warm. I would recommend it to anyone.

Really good but does get stinky if you don't wash it straight away. Keeps things very cold. Perfect size. Also if you go to festivals, you can put it on a carabiner and hang it off your utility shorts.

Love this bottle. I have the racket the metal balls make, and cleans like a dream. The insert comes out and snaps in. I wish they sold the bigger one still as I was planning on buying a second here for someone else.
