Fancy Feast Purina Medleys Florentine Wet Cat Food, 3 oz. Cans, 2x12 Pack

Luna, my lovely cat, is ridiculously finicky. I was fortunate enough to review many different types of cat food, many different brands. Often, she would start eating and after a few bites, ignore the rest of the food and compensate by eating the dry food I always leave available for her. As a side note, I found out that it is good to vary the type of foods your cat can eat. Too much dry food and they develop kidney problems, not enough and they develop gum problems. The dry food acts as a toothpaste and is good to exercise the cats jaws. Only two type of wet food kept her favors, I had pretty much to give away all the rest of the cans I got to cat shelters. Of these two, one is the Sheba perfect portions, quite expensive although good for her. The second one is Purina Fancy feast cat food and especially the Florentine collection. Luna actually dislikes fish and yet, she will eat the Tuna Florentine with a good appetite. At about 20$ for a 24 pack, this is a reasonable price, considering that she will eat about 2 per day. Of course there is cheaper but Luna has a bright and shiny hair, sign of a very good health and I think a lot can be attributed to the quality of the food. In conclusion: 5 stars.

If my cat, Cecil, could type, he'd write this review himself because that's how much he loves his Fancy Feast. Cecil's vet told me that Cecil must lose weight. Cecil was 20 lbs. He's 10 years old and at that age, I became very concerned about his being overweight effecting his heart. The vet told me to feed Cecil Fancy Feast. All Cecil's life he'd been eating 2 other well known canned cat foods and dry food. His vet told me straight out that those 2 other well known canned cat foods contained too much filler, and that is why Cecil gained too much weight. Also take into consideration that Cecil is the son of two all-American alley cats. Alley cats for some reason tend to be larger in bone structure than pure breeds (with some exceptions, e.g. Maine Coons). He was born in the street, rescued and put up for adoption. Anyway I stopped the 2 other well known canned cat foods and started Cecil on Fancy Feast. He absolutely loved it. He lost 6 lbs., and his vet is happy with that weight loss. I'm not saying that Fancy Feast is a diet food. It is not. What I am saying is that Fancy Feast is a healthier food. His favorite is the Florentine Collection because it has a very thick gravy. He also likes the Tuscany Collection, which has a much lighter gravy. I've tried to re-introduce the other 2 cat foods he used to eat because the Fancy Feast is expensive, but he turns his nose up at them and walks away. I've stopped buying Fancy Feast at my local supermarket because it is too expensive there. The price on Amazon is more affordable, so I buy it by the case on Amazon. If Cecil is happy with his Fancy Feast, then I'm happy, too. So, try a case. I think your kitty will love it. P.S. I've been a cat "mommy" for 47 years, so believe me, I know when my cats are happy.

Purina has changed the creamy white gravy in the Florentine line to a brown gravy and my cats hate it. they have not, since the change, eaten it joyfully as they did the original Florentine. I am now changing their diet to Fussie Cats wet food with goats milk. They love having their white gravy again and are slurping it as they did the Florentine before the change. The size of the morsels seems to be larger now in the Florentine. so I had to cut them up.

Cats love it, however in the last 3 subscription orders the chicken and turkey are not the florentine sauce. The label says Florentine so You don’t know until opening the can thus making it impossible to return. Luckily my cats eat it but would like to get what is being paid for-thus the 4 star rating.

My cats can be ridiculously picky, so finding wet food they’ll consistently eat is a huge win. This variety pack has been great because it gives them different flavors and textures without upsetting their stomachs. The portions are a nice size, the food actually looks high quality when opened, and both of my cats clean their bowls almost every time. I also like having the convenience of the multipack instead of buying individual cans. Definitely a solid choice for picky cat owners.

This is pretty much what my cat decided that she was going to eat and nothing else of course. She will eat one of these except for the chicken. Don’t know why, but she prefers this brand over any other brand. She seems to love the gravy, but leaves most of the tidbits behind.

Con la calidad del producto no tengo ningún problema. Mi problema fue que en el área que mandan los productos por mensajería no leen bien o la descripción no es la más entendible y solo me mandaron una caja con 12 latas cuando en el anuncio colocan que son 24 latas osea 2 paquetes de 12 latas ya que en la misma caja tiene escrito que la cantidad del paquete es de 12 latas y no de 24. Esto me pasó 2 veces.

LLegó rápido. Les encanta a mis gatos. Lo único malo es que sale muy caro.
