Briggs & Riley Travel Duffel Bag - Weekender & Overnight Luggage for Women & Men, Softside Bag

This bag far exceeded my expection--so much so until I am about to purchase another one in a different color. I bought it to accompany my standard carry on bag wheeled bag. However, because of its many pockets and cavernous space, it has become my favorite travel bag. I would rate it a six if I could. I have many Briggs and Riley bags--all if which are great--but this is my favorite. It easily rests upon my wheeled luggage and is easily transported, if necessary, via its shoulder strap. Furthermore, it easily fits under the smallest airplane seat or overhead bin.

Perfect small duffle for that overnight train trip. Good pocket options. Soft material allows for under seat storage. Quality of materials and assembly surpasses most options I’ve tried.

It's hard to overstate just how excellent this bag is. It's durable, the zippers are a joy to use, there's storage literally everywhere, and it's versatile. No matter what task you have in mind, this bag will accommodate you. I like to use it on short weekend trips, camping, and other "medium sized" tasks where I don't need full blown luggage. I can tell this thing is built to last and will give me years of good service. This is an expensive brand but they are definitely worth it.

Great bag that is more flimsy than previous model. Perfect for airplane travel, I wouldn’t get this bag to use as a gym bag, as it’s overkill. I was on the fence with going with this bag vs an older version. The older was more stiff, rugged and could stand up on its own. This bag you want to be flimsy and stretchy if you are using it for it’s intended purpose, which is under a seat on a plane. It’s a little snug under a seat, but I just took it to France with zero issues. It matches perfectly my 21’ spinner carry on. The zippers are high quality and plenty of pockets for storage. My one complaint if any would be to have the strap updated to the new baseline look (strap matches older logo/model) and bring back the magnet in the back to connect to itself!!! Let me be clear, the bag slides over the handle fine and fits well. But When you slide the duffle over a carry on handle, the older model had a magnet so your bag wouldn’t slide. This, the strap gap is too wide and the bag can slide side to side, especially when you lift the bag over a large curb or onto an escalator. Fix that and it’s 5 stars all around

Such a great bag. Provides just the right amount of extra room and sits snugly on the handle of my Briggs and Riley rollaboard. Well made with plenty of pockets. I have used the Briggs and Riley "no matter what" warranty (not on this bag) and it's the real deal. I can't recommend this bag highly enough.

I don't know how I missed this for so long. Love my B&R luggage. Yes, it's expensive, but if you're going to travel, this is the best you can get. I have the weekend duffle and it's OK for driving trips or to pack as an extra bag for longer trips when we need to bring back gifts. This bag is great for a short, 2-3 day, trip; especially when your travels include a small regional jet. The size and shape are perfect for under the seat or the small overhead luggage compartments.

Not recommended. Bought Baseline roller board and this duffel. The first time using, the duffel kept sliding out. I asked the company directly if there is a solution to it but no response to the question but been suggested to return with notes of all the deduction from the return price. I am so glad I bought it through Amazon.

This cost more money than I should’ve spent, but I do get tired of cheap things falling apart and I didn’t really want to buy a backpack. At first, upon delivery, I thought it looked to be a little too big for a personal carry-on item but when I got on the plane it stashed under the seat really nice and I had it pretty full too. It’s a classy bag and the interior space is ideal for a two day trip.

While I love the design of the bag, it is too heavy for me to carry throughout the airport and to use as my carry on bag. I do use it for weekend trips if I don’t have to carry it for long. I wished I had bought a bag with wheels so it was easier to use. The bag itself is very well designed and it’s lovely to look at.
