I started using bee pollen in 1982. Not from this company. But it all tastes similar textures are simular.

What is country of origin and is it irradiated

This Bee Pollen is from China.

Today is August 12, 2022.  I sent two emails to the Stakich company customer service email address (August 7th and a second email on August 10th after getting no reply to my first email).   Here is what I wrote:

"I don't see anything that states what country or countries your bee pollen products are sourced from.  Can you kindly reply with this information?
I am ready to make a purchase."

There was no reply to either email.  Today I called the Stakich company (phone number is on their website) and spoke with a man who identified himself as "Dusan Stakich".  He told me they have two types of bee pollen.  The Spanish Bee pollen is from Spain and costs a little more.  Their other bee pollen (this product) is from China.   He said the bee pollen is not organic and it is not irradiated.

I let him know about the posts on this page going back YEARS asking for the source of their pollen.    He said he would have someone at their company look at the Amazon questions and answers.  I hope this helps others by answering the question on country of origin for this product.

Can anyone point me to any peer-reviewed studies demonstrating the health benefits of bee pollen?

"Bee" pollen has no benefits unless it's fermented prior to consumption.

Does this have a strong taste?  What does it taste like?

I tried it directly out of the jar just to see what it would taste like and it is a grainy taste and texture.  I put about 2 T in my morning smoothie and really don't taste it.   It does not have a "honey" like taste.
