Got these because I saw a guy on Blackmagic's website forum saying he was getting a little over 3 hours of record time with these in his battery grip. I've used several other batteries and have not gotten close to three hours so I had to try them. Took about 4 hours to charge them. Put one in the camera and the other two in the grip and exactly what he said. 3 hours 16 minutes and 42 sec with one press of the record button and let it run untill it died! This is now my official battery for all my 6k and 6kG2 cameras. And anything else that uses this type of battery!

Using underpowered batteries in my BMPCC-6K Pro was a major pain during a documentary shoot. Sure, I could use V-mount batteries, but it makes the camera rig heavy on an all day “run-&-gun” production. With these internal batteries, my rig is light and I can get almost 2-hours each when shooting with these batteries (turning the camera off during resets, of course). Using the battery that came with my camera and the additional 4 purchased here, that’s 8 to 10 hours of run-time per day! With a multi-charger, I can shoot all day & recharge at night my, and i’m ready for the next day’s shoot. Best purchase I made for my documentary!

Got this Kastar NP-F580 battery for my old Sony camera and for using on my lights and monitor setup. Charged up in a few hours and all works great, as expected. One thing I did notice, is this Kastar battery is a tiny hair wider than my original Sony battery, so it does fit a little snug on a few of my accessory products. My old Sony camera requires the battery to be completely inserted inside the battery chamber, and it was quite difficult to remove the battery out of the chamber, as it was quite a bit tighter than my OEM battery. Anyway, the battery works and feels as good, solid, and well made as my original battery. Great value, considering how much the OEM battery costs!

Needed more batteries for my BMPCC 6K and these were the best option. They hold a charge and were super useful for me on long shoots. I am planning on buying more so I can get through longer shoots. Would recommend.

I received these batteries and within a week have gone through 3 of the 4 batteries & only use the camera for a few minutes at a time. They are not long lasting.
