I recently tried the Fix-A-Floor Reusable Micro Precision Injection Kit to address some creaky and hollow spots in my hardwood and laminate floors, and here’s a detailed review based on my experience.Pros:Effective Repair Solution: The Fix-A-Floor kit effectively addressed the creaky and hollow sounds in my flooring. The injection process allowed me to fill voids underneath the flooring, significantly reducing noise and restoring stability.Precision Application: The micro injection design is brilliant for targeting specific areas without causing damage to the surrounding flooring. The nozzle allows for precise placement of the repair material, making the process straightforward and clean.Reusable Kit: One of the standout features is the reusability of the kit. The ability to use the same kit multiple times makes it a cost-effective solution for future repairs, reducing waste and providing excellent value for money.Compatibility with Various Flooring Types: I appreciated that the kit is designed for a wide range of flooring materials, including tile, wood, laminate, vinyl plank, and LVT. This versatility makes it useful for multiple projects around the house.Easy to Use: The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making it accessible for DIYers of all skill levels. I was able to complete the repair without any prior experience in floor repair, which speaks to the product’s user-friendliness.Cons:Repair Material Not Included: The kit does not come with the actual repair material (Fix-A-Floor), which must be purchased separately. While this is understandable, it would have been helpful to have a starter quantity included for first-time users.Limited Coverage: Depending on the size of the area being repaired, the amount of repair material needed can add up. For larger rooms with extensive issues, users may need multiple kits of repair material, increasing the overall cost.Initial Learning Curve: While the kit is user-friendly, there can be a slight learning curve for those unfamiliar with precision injection techniques. A practice run on a less visible area might be necessary to gain confidence.Potential for Over-application: It can be easy to over-inject the repair material, which could lead to excess material oozing out. Careful control is required during application to avoid this issue. Not a Permanent Fix for Severe Damage: While it effectively addresses minor issues, this kit may not be suitable for severely damaged or structurally compromised flooring. For major repairs, a more comprehensive solution might be necessary.Overall Verdict:The Fix-A-Floor Reusable Micro Precision Injection Kit is a highly effective and practical solution for repairing creaky and hollow flooring. Its precision application, compatibility with various flooring types, and reusable nature make it an excellent choice for DIY enthusiasts looking to tackle flooring issues. While it requires separate purchase of the repair material and may have a slight learning curve, the overall ease of use and effectiveness of the kit far outweigh these minor drawbacks. If you're dealing with troublesome flooring, I highly recommend the Fix-A-Floor Reusable Micro Precision Injection Kit for an efficient and clean repair process.

The blunt needle and the adapter cap work well but the drill bit snapped after only drilling a few holes in the grout. So, I switched to using a good quality 2.5 mm masonry bit and had no further problems. Obviously, the hole I drilled was bigger so doing this might be a problem if your grout lines are very thin.

Kit to use with fix a floor adhesive allows precise placement of the adhesive. Great kit

not impressed at all. Went to use tis product and followed instructions to the letter. More of the product leaked out of the back of the tube than went under the tiles. Will now have to remove tiles and refix properly

Takes a while to dry but it's strong stuff

Good value for money and good quality, strong and easy to use

Ha servido muy bien para su cometido, fija bien las baldosas.

C'est très utile pour injecter la colle liquide entre les carrelages

I was using this on laminate flooring. The drill bit broke almost immediately . Useless!
