Flying Paper Dragons (Klutz)

In a very long Santa list, this item was almost an afterthought. It was greeted with surprise and delight on Christmas day, and my son spent hours making and then playing with the dragons. He is nine years old, and managed totally unaided (but then he does know a lot about dragons!!). I now find the dragons every where.... they live in my Christmas wreath ("the perfect nest for dragons), are perched on top of wardrobes, and have even been found in the fridge. This is a lovely quality book and well worth getting for a young dragon enthusiast.

Bought twice as little son destroyed a good few of the previous lot and upset big sisses! Great quality, glossy pages, easy to assemble by my 8 year old and they actually fly really well. The book draws on the popular dragon series, How to Train your Dragon, giving some background to each dragon featured in this book, although these are completely different dragons.

We had good fun building and flying. Need to play around to get flight better, but found part of the fun, challenge

Really good fun - I was a bit envious of my niece after I gave it to her - she loved it. Varying difficulties and designs which is great. and perfect instructions

Given as present so not sure how the models will go together but lovely looking book if good quality.

Got this for my daughter (9) who loves making things and loves dragons. Some people have said the card is too think and it needs taping together but this just end up with a stronger dragon better for flying and taking flying into things without breaking. She made some of these herself and I helped on a few but very well received and the information on the dragons was well illustrated and informative even for a reluctant 9 year old reader. Very highly recommended.

Lovely book...Well thought our dragon/planes....but ...Only held 8 year olds interest long enough to make two. Collecting dust on a shelf now.

Granddaughter (9) loved these and they kept us busy all day. Now just waiting for a dry day to try them outdoors (not much room in the house) because they crash into the walls etc

Bought this as part of a “car activity kit” I was putting together for my 10yo son for a long road trip. I wondered if it would be a little too “young” for him but he looooooved it. Excellent quality, beautiful colors and art on the double-sided dragons, so many options for customizing them. He even shared a couple with his little sister, who then asked for a set of her own! Really, I was amazed at how into it he was. Storage compartment is handy, too, so they didn’t wind up all over the place. I think there are three varieties of these, and we’ve bought two so far—I hope they make more!

This was a gift for 7 year old boy that loves dinosaurs. His eyes lighted up when he got it. However he did need some adult help to do his first flying dragon and is looking forward to creating more. He thougth the story part was "GREAT". His friends also like the dragons and they wanted to help since they had never seen these before.

It was a Birthday gift for my son. He liked it so much. It has good quality material and understandable instructions :-)
