How does the training device work, and is there any needle that breaks the skin?

The orange tip will activate just like the real thing but there is no needle inside.

Can you put a needle inside and use it as a real epi pen?

No this is a training device and can only be used as a training device. You cannot add a needle or epinephrine to this device.

What Is The Shelf Life?

This is a trainer pen. It does not have any form of medication in it. It is simply a durable, three piece, plastic faux EpiPen therefore shelf life would not apply.

comes the training epipen and epipen app?

If you are asking if this product includes the EpiPen App, no it does not- you are just buying the training device. The app is available for free download from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
