It actually works for my dog who is afraid of getting his nails done.
I received this quick. Overnight shipping and great price for what I’m about to say. That’s not the best part. I have 3 hyper active dogs. One of them is afraid of having his nails done and tries to bite. Can’t even keep a muzzle on him he houdinis out of them. This same dog fell asleep, snoring in my lap this morning while I was filing his nails down. I was worried he wouldn’t sit still or that it wouldn’t work on his nails because they’ve gotten longer. It filed them right down, no pain, no frantic escapes or trying to hold him in place. It was the calmest experience I’ve had and probably he’s had trying to do his nails. It’s also got a nice look and handle to it. A cap to go over the top to keep it from getting ruined and it’s not super quiet, but it’s not so loud to cause anxiety in sensitive dogs. Best one on the market in my opinion. Easy to use. And the only one I’ve ever gotten that does what it was intended to do. 5/5 stars.

3 large dogs with thick nails!
Most efficient dremel I’ve ever used. Have 2 pitbulls and a Rhodesian so 3 dogs with thick nails. The previous dremel we used only had 2 speeds and would die after the second dog. This dremel is SO much more powerful but still quiet and got all 3 dogs’ nails within 10 min total and no battery issue. Would 10/10 recommend! My dogs HATE getting their nails trimmed but this was so quick and efficient and made the process effortless

Solid and performs well
Right Out of the Box It came charged and ready to go, which was a nice touch. No waiting around to use it - just turn it on and get started. Always appreciate when a rechargeable product ships with a charge. Speed Settings The 6 adjustable speeds are really useful. You can start low to get your dog comfortable with the sensation and work your way up. It gives you a lot of control over how aggressive the grinding is, which is important when you're dealing with different nail thicknesses or a nervous pup. The Noise Factor Here's where I have mixed feelings. The listing emphasizes "super quiet" and it definitely isn't loud - I'll give it that. But it's not as quiet as I was hoping for either. It's somewhere in between. My dog doesn't freak out over it, so it's quiet enough to get the job done without a meltdown. But if you have a dog that's extremely noise-sensitive, just know it's not silent. Performance It does everything it claims to do. Grinds nails down smoothly without any snagging or pulling. The grinder itself feels comfortable to hold and the rechargeable battery lasts through a full grooming session without dying on me. Bottom Line It's a solid nail grinder that performs well and gives you good control with the speed options. Just go in with realistic expectations on the noise level - it's quieter than most, but "super quiet" is a stretch. If you're looking for a reliable, rechargeable nail grinder with adjustable speeds, this gets the job done. Your dog might not love nail grinding regardless, but at least this tool makes the process smoother for both of you.

This is a no brainer, quality grinder
I bought a previous nail grinder that smoothed out my dogs nails but never actually removed length. This nail grinder “Casfuy” works fast in grinding length off and directions are helpful, be sure to read and follow them as they are clear and accurate to the experience and use of the grinder. The only concern I’ve found is long hair which they warn about to be fair. Be sure to keep paws trimmed which you should anyways with long haired breeds and keep grinder away from any exposed hair as it can catch and wrap around the spinning head (I removed the guard so that’s on me) however it hasn’t caused physical harm when it’s caught my Aussie’s hair (my error not the grinder’s) and I’m impressed with the safety feature it has to shut off (big win for safety). I was able to roll the caught hair out, console my girl (my reaction scared her, again no pain and hair brushed out fine) and back to grinding no problem👍🏽 The light is extremely helpful in seeing the Quick, another big safety win and it’s bright and also has a separate on/off button which is great if you’re wanting just the light at first without the grinder on. It really works well, it grinds through my pups horrendously long nails and fast enough I can actually get the job done (cutting their nails has been nearly impossible because of aggression towards clippers and my hands in those instances). So long as you follow directions and grind for a few seconds each time it doesn’t heat up the nail. This grinder’s multiple speed adjustments quickly get through, take it slow the first time so you’re aware of it’s speed and impact on the nails as it grinds quickly. The sound is actually low and so far tolerable to both of my scaredy dogs. They cower at all grooming tools/devices but this grinder they tolerate and giving them bites of chicken or beef helps to train them into cooperating. It’s easy to hold because it isn’t bulky, I have lupus so comfort of use is important and this device I’m able to hold and get through two dogs back to back. I prefer this grinder to clipping because you have better control of how much you’re taking off, it doesn’t frighten my two like the clippers do nor does it cause pain bc of the control I have to not hit the Quick and I’m able to smooth out sharp corners saving my carpets. Lastly the battery last a long time but is easy enough to charge. The diamond blade does a much better job than any sanding disk I’ve tried before. Overall I recommend, any issue like hair catching has been my error but with everything built into it like the safety features, great instructions and warnings, and the company’s concern for the customers satisfaction… no brainer this is it!

THE BEST NAIL TRIMMING SOLUTION, PERIOD.
I expected a cheap peace of junk made in China and what I received is probably one of the best consumer products I have ever purchased. This thing is a miracle. I had historically used a Dremel on my Golden Retrievers. They didn't like it, but they complied. Our one-year old Lab took to this trimmer with no problem at all. His nails are so short that they make no contact with the ground. Everyone comments on them - vet, groomer, trainer. It's a remarkable product. It's relatively quiet and, if you do it right, the light shines right through the nail so you can see the quick. Ours is a Red Fox Lab, so your success with seeing through nails on a darker/black dog may vary. The trick is to lay the dog on its back with its head in your lap. Not all dogs will do this so you may need a little help from someone to feed some treats as a distraction. Mine didn't need any of it. Just take a little off every couple of days, avoid the quick and your dog will have perfect nails. No floor scratching and no car seat scratching. If your dog is apprehensive, just hold it in your lap while sitting on the floor and give it some rubs and treats will turning the trimmer on low. Don't actually trim our dogs nails until it's comfortable with the device. When you do trim for the first time, just gently hit one nail and call it a day. Do it again later and use treats. Keep doing that and, in a few days, you'll have a great trimmer solution. I would very much caution you not to get aggressive with this trimmer. It can be tempting to go crazy and take them all the way down, and some dogs may allow this, but it WILL hurt if you hit the quick, even though there won't be blood. I would also recommend trimming the top part of the nail and letting the concrete wear down the under-side of the nail naturally. If you don't walk your dog enough for that, just carefully file the entire nail a little bit at a time. Doing this every few days keeps the drama to a minimum and will keep your dog's quick moving backward. Just remember to take the smallest amount off if you can't see the quick. Less than a millimeter. I'm going to buy another one just so I have it when the one I have fails. It's that good. Note on pictures: This is a very active dog. He hikes mountains and walks 4-6 miles per day. His nails look rough because he spends a lot of time on rough terrain. You could file your dog's nails with a nail file if you want them smooth. I'm going for short.

Randomly turns itself on
It works fine. But it will randomly turn on. I just walked into living room and heard a strange noise. It was this nail grinder. The dial was in the off position but it was just on. It has happened more than once.

Best nail grinder I’ve ever used
I went to professional dog groomers and asked what they’d recommend for smaller dogs, based on their personal experience. This is what they suggested. Well, they were right! I freaking love this little thing. The light is incredibly convenient, the entire thing is lightweight and easy to use. The battery lasts a good while, and makes maneuvering around to get difficult positions SO much easier than a corded tool. The variable speed is a great feature. If you’re struggling to find an ideal setting, try grinding a little bit of your own fingernail! It should give you a good feel for it. You will need to desensitize your dogs to the sensation and the sounds of the grinder, but this one is significantly quieter and less rough than the others I’ve tried. My dogs definitely prefer this one. Highly recommend. Indispensable in my household

Good quality
Glad I got this! Purchased to replace another nail grinder that one of the dogs decided made a good chew toy. Super happy with this product. Do the nails of 5x animals weekly and all tolerate it really well. Very easy to use. Appreciate the light for doing nails during the darker times of the morning/evening. Safety guards are also nice for noses that like to investigate during the trimming process. Very pleased. Would recommend and would get again. Holds charge well. Able to do all of the animals without recharging.

Parfait 👌❤️
